Ive eaten here 2 times and both times were horrid. Tasted stale and old I couldn't even eat it all. Went for 2nd time in case I just went on a bad day. However it was no different months apart. 50.00 for a few rolls and I even tipped 🤦♀️Im not sure if its because I took it to go? Looks like all the high star reviews are dine in! They should make it just as good for take out!

This is honestly our favorite sushi place we’ve ever been to. The fish is high quality and clean. The flavors are complex and the atmosphere is wonderful. Johnny is the BEST and takes great care of us every time. I can’t recommend Ocean Sushi enough!

Crystal shrimp was incredibly dry, food tasted off.
Took all of one bite of each roll and decided to leave there, can't recommend this place in any capacity.
Insane having to spend 40 for three pieces of abjectly terrible maki.

Wonderful, flavorful, fresh food. Raw, cooked and veggie options. Lovely staff/owners with good memory. Second time here. Thoughtful as we have 2 in the group with separate allergies and they accommodated beautifully. Nice restroom (but only 1). Cozy restaurant. Always have a been able to get a seat with 5 or more, but would call first if you have a party larger than 4 people. Not advertised, but they do have a kids menu on the written board [not in the printed menu]. I would like an option for soup and chicken option (one of the kiddos loves soup but not rice so much). There were more than 8 different combos and kiddy bento boxes. We ordered the kids soup and rice and he definitely enjoyed it, but is more of a soup and meat kiddo. All you can eat will have you rolling out of there looking for a place to nap! Thank you Ocean Sushi for being in Mountain Home.

Took the wife for lunch, had the hot spot and BSU roll, both were super good. So much so we said going to Boise for good Sushi is no longer necessary.
