I moved here from boise. An i can say this place is tops out some of the places in boise. Great food..Food: 4/5
Really expensive for Burritos that are just okay in flavor. Salsa bar was filled with fresh stuff and was clean.Food: 3/5
The food is awesome and super fresh. Friendly staff, and you can tell they care about customer service. They have a jumping spider in there for Halloween, and turned it on for the kids along with candy.
Decent burrito shop, prices were much higher than any other place I've ever been. So you think the food would have been better. It was ok, but 9 bucks for a breakfast burrito, is way too high!!
Overall what I expected (which is good). This place is similar to Roberto's back home in Las Vegas. A large menu of burritos, quesadillas, asada fries, plates, tacos and more. The price is slightly high...but given how thick the burritos, quesadillas and portions are it's worth it. (It's likely also due to certain economic events at the time of this review..so it can't be helped much) If you need some good Mexican food and not in the mood to do a restaurant (or just passing thru town), this is great.
We had the #16 (Chimichanga plate), Chicken Bacon Ranch Burrito special, and a Carne Asada burrito. The first two were excellent. The Chimichanga, beans, and rice were exactly what I would expect. And we really liked the Chicken Bacon Ranch Burrito. However, the Carne Asada burrito was nearly 100% beef with almost nothing else in it, not like the picture at all. But the real problem is that the beef was seriously over-salted, like choke it down with water every bite over-salted.My guess is that they forgot to rinse the brine off before preparing the meat for cooking. (Brine overnight, rinse, then do any prep for cooking that day.)Portion sizes were ginormous, especially for the price you pay.We will be going back but we won't be getting anything that is Carne Asada.Giving a generous 4stars because there are excellent dishes and the portion size for the price is excellent. But it should be 3.5 stars due to the Carne Asada burrito.
Wasn't really a fan. Service was really good and I got my food really quick. Food was the complete opposite though. It was very tough to cut through and didn't really taste too good either. Don't think I'll return
We recently celebrated my son’s 18th birthday at Rolberto’s - he really likes the Carne Asada tacos & we’ve been visiting on his birthday for several years now. The staff went out of their way to make his birthday lunch special!
At first I was shocked by the prices, but when I got my food…..good God!!! My daughters burrito was HUGE! She made two meals out of it. My carne asada torta was big too! I could barely handle it with my big basketball gripping hands!! Ok… So what about quality and taste??OUTSTANDING!
Fantastic food. Huge menu. Huge food. Best value in authentic Mexican cuisine. If they would open one in Caldwell, I would eat there, daily. Currently open in Ely, Elko, Winnemucca, Twin Falls, Jerome and Mountain Home. I swear the standard $9 burrito weighs over 2 lbs. We always get a carnitas burrito and a machaca burrito. Just look at the specials they post on their building. Mouthwatering and very easy on the wallet. If there is a better place in the US, where is it?
This is are go to spot when we are going thru mtn home fast friendly service and great tasting food!!
Love the fish tacos here. Also, the super tacos are awesome. Just make sure they are charging you the right amount for your food by checking the receipt. I'm sure they didn't do it on purpose.
Go here every so often, the food is by far really good. They now have new dishes you can order and they are good. My experience so far has been really good
I will 9 times out of 10 always choose Rolbertos over any other restaurant. Big fan of the carne fries. However tonight was kind of a disappointment. I repeated my order three times at the window to make sure everything was correct, got to the window when I got my boyfriend's burrito that he had ordered and a carne burrito. I politely reiterated that I had ordered the fries, the cashier apologized and I told him it was not a big deal and if he'd like me to pull around front to wait given that there was a line forming behind me. He said no and to wait. Then came back with fries with no additional charge. I was disappointed upon opening my food at home and seeing that it was poorly put together in a hurry. The cheese is not melted, the fries are cold. There's barely any sour cream on them. I was not upset by the error, and would have gladly waited longer for the good quality food they usually serve when I go.
Forgot sour cream and gauc. Paid $10 for carne asada fry burrito that was EXTREMELY dry. They usually put them on. (Spring creek)
