Fries and nuggests have constantly been dry, bland, and tend to have a really bad oily taste like they sat in old oil for too long. Honestly wondering if the oil is being swapped out properly. Overall when half the food is barely edible I gotta give one star.

Food is still fine and the people are great. Better than other burger chains in Mountain Home, but customer service and cleanliness are tanking at this location. They are clearly not staffed to handle the lunch rush for a full house of dining in patrons. When we arrived around 2:15pm, Ketchup & napkin dispensers were all empty and every trash can was stacked with used trays and overflowing garbage. Also, we had to order at the counter since the kiosks wouldn't accept our rewards offers, and it took them around 10 minutes to get someone back over to the register to help us. It would probably be helpful if management would hire 1-2 more people to cover during their peak hours to help keep up with the dining room and the register for people that still need those services. Hope we see improvement in our next few visits so I can give them a couple more stars. The staff really deserve the help too, what a great bunch of people!

They were busy. The guy working was rude and acted like everyone was an inconvenience. Our food was made incorrectly and we brought it to their attention and he was short. I understand being busy and stressed but to be repeatedly rude to other customers as well is not a place I plan on returning too.

The girl named Hailey Johnson was sooo rude, needs to be fired, she's flirting with all the dudes that work at wendys instead of doing her work, and waited forever to get my food and when I did she was Hella rude, and ignored me to go talk to a male coworker and you can tell he doesn't even want her near him so shes harassing her male coworkers also not doing her work, SHOULD NOT have someone like her working there

If I could leave this location, zero stars I would. We pulled up to order food and got told they were making fresh. We waited nearly half an hour to get food. The burgers were disgusting and the fries were ice cold. We waited all that time for fresh food, and it was absolutely disgusting. Never ever visiting this location again.

The other issue here was the place was definitely not clean. Probably the worst fast food I’ve had in 20 years based on quality and service

As a former Wendy’s manager with a postgraduate academic background, I understand the standards and pride required to maintain a well-run fast food establishment. Unfortunately, my recent visit to this particular Wendy’s revealed substantial operational shortcomings indicative of ineffective leadership at both the store and area management levels.

The order consisted of two “5 for $5” deals, a Dave’s Single, an Asiago Chicken Sandwich, and a 6-piece nugget. Rather than packaging each combo separately for ease and order clarity, all items were consolidated into a single bag. This decision resulted in product degradation, as by the time the food reached us, it was already cooling noticeably.

Compounding this, our order was initially handed to an adjacent vehicle—whose occupants received our food. The staff, upon realizing the error, requested whether we would be comfortable trading bags. While we knew the other party personally and agreed, this mishap raises serious hygiene and customer service concerns. In any other circumstance, accepting mishandled food would have been entirely unacceptable.

Such errors are not symptomatic of high-volume rushes or staffing shortages alone—they point directly to a lack of procedural accountability and leadership engagement. If I were the franchise owner, I would be alarmed by the negative impact this level of mismanagement has on customer retention and brand integrity. Patrons are increasingly choosing competing chains—not because the food is superior, but because those establishments consistently deliver reliable service.

This location must urgently reassess its managerial oversight and staff training practices. Operational excellence is not optional—it is the baseline requirement for a business expecting customer loyalty.

We stopped here as a family unit: grandparents, parents and 5 kids. We actually had quite a few things go wrong: they ran out of chocolate milk, adults' food came out WAY before kids' meals, they added ketchup to one of the 'plain' burgers, missing a toy, oy vey. But they gave the kids free mini frosty's and just bent over backwards to accomodate everything. District Manager happened to be in and I told him how helpful and accomodating the team was and told him to give everyone a pat on the back. While I hope next time we have no issues, it was nice not to have to 'fight' to get what we ordered and be treated like *valued* customers!
