Finally made it in and wow.. this place did not disappoint! The food and bakery items are absolutely amazing. Everything was delicious, affordable, and well worth the drive, even if it’s not usually on your route.
absolutely incredible bakes! such a beautiful variety and Nora is so talented.
Be sure to go if you live anywhere in the Bonners Ferry/Moyie area. it's beyond worth it!
We try to visit Miss Nora every week for donuts and then play at the playground down the road. We also get my son's favorite bread, English Toasting loaf, if it's in stock. This morning, we got there for our donuts and Miss Nora had just pulled fresh loaves from the oven. When she heard me tell my son they had one loaf of his favorite bread left on the shelf she went and got us a fresh, hot loaf. Mill Cafe and Bakery is an incredible spot in the North Idaho Panhandle, beyond worth a visit for those in the Bonners Ferry/Moyie area. The bakes are absolutely incredible with a beautiful variety. The donuts, including maple glazed with bacon or chocolate frosted with strawberry topping and cheesecake filling, are light-years ahead of others. The English Toasting loaf is a favorite, and the mill fries are always fresh and hot, the kind of food that makes you wanna do a happy dance. The baker uses old-school multi-day dough risings. Everyone is super nice, providing excellent service.
