I was about to give it 4 stars, but it's really closer to 3, 3.4 max.They list their meat options all in English... chicken, chopped steak, pork, beef tounge, pork rinds, Mexican sausage... so you don't really know without asking what type of marinades or seasonings or how it's prepared.Tongue, no flavor, no texture, boiled and mushy.The chicken was chicken, which is to say nothing special. It wasn't bad, just plain chicken.The "steak" was decent, paired very well with the red salsa. Probably the best one.The "pork" was close to Al Pastor without pinepple. Prepared well, but not super flavorful.The pork skin was a big disappointment. Surprising because there are some very good Chicharrones tacos nearby. I can name four places within three miles that have really good Chicharrones tacos. These ones were just a single layer of skin. No meat, not fried, just boiled blubber is an orange sauce.And lastly, they were out of chorizo, but informed me they also had Carnitas... which addresses the previous comment about English meat choices that don't go into detail of how it's prepared. Why do they not list that on their meat options? The Carnitas was good, but nothing to get excited about.There's too many good tacos in Nampa for me to go back to this one.All their street tacos were prepaired on two tortillas with onions and cilantro, shredded lettuce (?), radishes, limes, and they had both a red and green salsa.What are the best things that they are all very cheap, only $1.50 each. Still, I'd rather pay more and get more.

I've tried asada tacos and I've tried pork, both were underwhelming. The asada meat was dry mini-cubes. And judging by photos from others 4 years ago, they've lightened up a bunch on how much they're putting on it, because those photos look bomb my experience was only so-so. I do like the price, though, that makes it worth stopping by for cheap filler.

Been coming here for about 7 years now and I’ve never had anything on the menu that hasn’t tasted amazing. The azteca burrito is the best burrito in Nampa/Caldwell and I’ll always stand by that. Can’t recommend them enough. (The nachos are insanely good also)

Stopped at Azteca Tacos for a late night dinner and we were glad to be served some great tacos, a burrito, and carne asada fries. Both the green and red salsas were good and spicy. For the tacos my suggestion would be to not have the tortillas totally covered in oil, but I know that that's often a traditionally styled taco so it could easily just be my own preference. My sister got the steak fries and loved them. She said she'd rate them 4.5-5 starts and my husband agreed with the burrito he got. It was a big burrito and has all the filling a burrito needs. We'd happily come back for more food. The cooks were welcoming and quick to take and prepare our order. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a small local taco shop.
