Update: I came back to this location for lunch today and was happy to see that everything was much cleaner and wiped down than the first time. The food was still excellent and the staff was still very friendly and fast. As a result. I've edited my rating to five stars across the board.
My wife and I just tried this place for the first time a couple days before I'm leaving this review. The food was really delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful and it was clear that their ingredients were fresh. I've got a goal to try everything on the menu. The only reason I'm giving it 4 starts instead of 5 stars is that most of the tables hadn't been wiped down when we were ready to sit down.

I’ve ordered from this location a handful of times and every single time, something has been wrong with my order. Today, specifically, I ordered on the app a pick 2 combo and went in to pick it up. I waited 25 minutes for my soup to be “ready” and it turns out it was sitting by the cashier for 20 minutes. So when I got home to eat my food, it was not very warm and the soup seemed separated in some way? Also, the salad I ordered comes with the vinaigrette. The dressing was pure oil. No herbs. Disgusting. This happens every single time at this location. This is the only location I’ve had consistent issues with.

I LOVE Cafe Zupa.... But, their doors, going in and out are filthy and the bathrooms arent mich better. Ordinarily itd worry me about what the kitchen cleanliness is like but I haven't seen ANYTHING to worry about in that regard. And I look for it. Food is consistently great. Just dont touch the doors with your hands or use the bathroom. People are messy and dirty and it looks like Cafe Zupa has their focus on the food....which is a good thing. It just needs a little extra TLC in the public areas....

Ordered carry out. 1st time eating at this franchise. I had the Brisket Sandwich and the Ceasar Avacado Salad. The sandwich fell short for being called brisket and the salad, well just let me say that I might have eaten it except when I got the first fork full there was a big long black hair in it. Totally grossed me out! Threw it all in the trash and be assured, I will never eat there again. Wife said brisket sandwich sucked. Should have listened to my friend .

I have been a big fan of Zuppas for awhile but tonight they failed us. Dined with my daughter (6) and the portions were very small for $40! Her fruit cup had two very thin slices of apples and 2 halves of a very mushy strawberry and maybe some mashed blueberries. Her soup wasn’t any better exactly 4 noodles and 2 pieces of children in chicken noodle soup. Needless to say she was still hungry, my soup had a couple of potatoes and a lot of broth. :( Salad was fine but again small. The AC in the restaurant was far too high, several patrons asked them if it could be adjusted and was met with blank stares from staff. I get food prices are high but seriously at least give us a real portion size for $20 a piece! I am not a complainer but man that was not a good experience at all. Now to take my kid home and feed her dinner again. 😔☹️ wish the young staff would take pride in serving and not gossiping, which was also happening as we got our food…. We really don’t need to hear who is sleeping with who.

I use to frequent the meridian location often and loved their mango berry salad . Very disappointed today after a less than sub par visit . The girl preparing the food was extremely rude and had zero customer service skills . She had an attitude for some reason and the store looked disorganized and messy . Won't be returning .

Our food was delicious, as it always is. They weren’t very busy when we entered, but got busier quickly. The young man preparing the salads was excellent, greeted us warmly and he never seemed to stop moving. Unfortunately, the rest of the staff seemed to be more interested in standing around chatting with each other and making customers wait. Few of them even smiled as we moved through the line to order the rest of our meal. When we looked for an available table, at least one-third of them had not been cleaned and the floor was littered and dirty. We never saw anyone who spoke or acted like a manager. Not sure we’ll be back other than maybe to pick up takeout.
