Gravy was very odd. Meatloaf was not stone cold, just a little above that. Waitress was pleasant. Fireplace was cozy.

The atmosphere and decor is always pleasing at Cracker Barrel wherever you go around the country. I think it’s a planned sensory overload to distract from the quality of the food in some cases. We were hungry so we stopped in and ate. The chicken fried steak and white gravy tasted very artificial and a little bitter and the eggs were clearly made with substitute. I’m not sure when we’ll be going back….. the servers were very nice though!

Our server was the best server we have ever had there was 8 of us. She never complained, kept the best attitude and didn’t let a glass go empty. She definitely deserved 5 stars.

We dined at the Nampa location yesterday. It was certainly a very nice experience. All of the employees were kind and treated us so nice. A special employee is Jared. How nice and caring. We were greeted kindly from the moment we walked in. Thank you Cracker Barrel for making our day.

I got fried chicken with dumplings and green beans and buttermilk biscuits. Four nice pieces of chicken fried, perfect with great sides and some of the best buttermilk biscuits with butter and honey. You can't beat it for thirteen bucks.
