Not to mislead anybody, but we did not go to the bakery, but to the outlet store attached to the bakery. And the outlet store is amazing. We went to the outlet store on a recommendation by a friend after hearing that, I had been eating gluten free. I had been having a hard time finding bread at Costco for some reason it was all sold out and this friend recommended going to the outlet to get it. Costco's selection of bread (For our store) is two brands and one of them happens to be Franz. Costco ended up getting the bread back in stock and I completely forgot about visiting the outlet, but my husband kept driving by it and smelling it and lo and behold we had to go. It's not a very big outlet store compared to other bread outlet stores I've been to but it's plenty big enough. The gluten-free section is quite small, but there really isn't that much to choose from in any store for that matter. So what they had was perfectly fine. There was a teenager working the cash register. And they do give you a loyalty card that they will punch every time you purchase something.
