You may want to text or call ahead to be sure this food stall is open if you're planning a visit because the 37 year old owner was arrested on or about 4/4/24 and charged with lewd conduct with a minor under the age of sixteen. It is a tragedy for the girl, who at age 16 is 28 weeks pregnant with his child, she was age15 when the relationship started, and who was once his employee at this location, and for the owner's wife and their young family. This food stall was income for his family and I don't know if it will be kept open by them now or not. I don't know if he is out on bail or not but even if he is, it is going to be tough to keep this going. Things are bound to change for the business. I wasn't 'into' this location before for the food but had I been a fan of it, it would make me recoil now. Except that I keep wondering what will happen to the owner's wife and family without the support of the income from this business which they just a few months ago opened in this bricks and mortar Boise location after having people standing in line at their Nampa food truck. I also feel heartbroken wondering how the sixteen year old will manage through this as a parent at that age and how her family will cope. I am going to link a news article, I don't think you will hit paywall for this one, to confirm the arrest of the 37 year old owner, Jose Sanchez Vazquez.

Cant go wrong here but I did order to go everytime. As a person that travels a lot and eaten birria tacos at different states including LA tacos, this is top notch. I didn't expect Idaho to have a spot for Birria tacos like this. I tried the Costra, Quesabirria tacos and the birria burrito.

So this is a very conflicting review. I'm Mexican-American and grew up with a dad who is from Mexico City and knows how to throw down in the kitchen, including his famous birria. My husband and I decided to finally try Garnacha last night. The food was delicious and the flavors were on point. I got the torta and he got the burrito. We tore it up--there was nothing left behind. The place has great atmosphere and all the good music as well.This is where things go south, however, amigos.... We woke up last night about 1 or 2 am with the worst kind of food poisoning. We were up ALL night and still going. Because that was the only meal of the day we both ate together, we can only attribute it to Garnacha.I'm really sad because like I said, the food was the Bomb (in more ways than one I guess LOL), but I would just be careful. I think I would give it another shot in the hopes that was a fluke, but I don't think my husband is going to be as willing.

My gosh, where do I even start? A buddy showed me this place, and now it's a weekly pleasure. Taco Tuesday has changed to Taco Wednesday and it's so worth it. The taste level, the plating, the price, the environment, the overall stature of this beast of a taco restaurant, is spectacular. If you're out after watching a movie or in the area, even for a quick lunch break. This is the spot for you and you will not regret coming to try Garnacha Que Apapacha's tacos. Or anything else on their menu.P.S: This has replaced my SSI's fr. It's soul healing and without comparison in the treasure valley. Dietary restrictions: They do have a keto variant taco.Wheelchair accessibility: Big and open, would be easy to maneuver between front counter and table.

Delicious. 10/10! I got 2 tacos and my boyfriend got 3, we spent about $22-24 I think and then we bought a 16oz consome to split for $2, this was our first time so we had no idea it came with the tacos in the meal so next time we won’t order so much lol. I think the prices were decently fair for the portion size. The tacos were stuffed full of beef, definitely not slacking on the meat. We liked that the toppings are on the side so you can add as you go (my bf also doesn’t like cilantro so since it’s on the side that was perfect) we ordered online for take out and our food and the consome was piping hot and stayed hot till we got home to eat. Definitely will be a new date night spot and regular customers here.

Super tasty, quick service even when super busy.Only problem is that in the quesadillas, the onion chunks are HUGE. like the size of a child's fist. If they just cut it up a little more it would be a lot more enjoyable.The picture is not even a quarter of the onions, and all of them were this size or bigger, and all super thick. (Chapstick tube for scale)Wheelchair accessibility: Not at all accessible on your own. The doors are super heavy and they stick badly. No button to open them.
