They were very busy when we went, the food was good and the drinks were great they have a good drink menu, I had the spicy margarita and it was delicious we will definitely be going back.
I had a great time at Getaway Bar & Grill in Nampa. The atmosphere was casual and inviting, perfect for a night out with friends. The food was delicious, especially the burgers. They were juicy and flavorful, cooked to perfection. The service was friendly and attentive, and I loved the laid-back vibe.
Service depends on the waitress/waiter. Some are great at their job other's not so much. Shouldn't take 10 mins to get a soda especially when the beer was brought right out. Took an hour to get 2 steaks and potatoes. Then waited forever to get a fork while our waitress stood there socializing with friends. Decided it was faster to just get it myself. Food is great!
Went in to have dinner and some drinks tonight around 5:30. The waitress has never been the best when we get her. Tonight we walked in and ask the waiter what section he was in because he is always great. When we ask him this question she walked by and said I will be your server and if you don’t like it you can leave. Needless to say we did exactly that. It will be quite some time before we come back to be treated like that and then ask to tip. I do not know why you have someone that rude working at your establishment.

My husband and I go here a couple times a week and it is a great bar, very relaxing place. The Food is decent, I really enjoy the getaway.

Love the Staff here. They always make you feel like family. Wednesdays and Fridays are always slam packed due to dining specials so please be patient. If you don't mind the wait, the food is well worth it! If you are someone who likes to sit back and people watch, this is the place to be! A large variety of people from all walks of life.
If you choose to sit inside then the service is great but every time I've sat outside the red headed gal was waitressing and she spent her time chatting with what I assume are either friends or regulars and has been completely inattentive to anyone else. Their Friday night steak dinner deal is fantastic! I thought the steak looked pretty small when it was served but it was a good cut of beef and cooked perfectly to what I ordered. The baked potato and salad were great portions so the meal was actually very well balanced and left me quite satisfied.
Parking: There's a decent amount of parking available and more in front of the O'Reilly's, just don't park at the gas station next door or you'll risk being towed.

Drinks are a little over priced, but atmosphere was good. Has a good patio area and pool tables. Didn't try the food but it looked good and seemed popular as almost everyone sitting at the bar had something from the menu

Place was a joke. We get there and they say seat yourselves. Then after 15 minutes I have to go ask for menus. Then after another 15 minutes I have to go ask to order, only to be be told it was going to be an hour, hour and a half to get food. Bunch if clowns who don't give a damn about you unless you're at the bar getting drunk

It's a good place to go if you are drunk. Everybody else, you got to be kidding. That bar is the biggest piece of trash on 12th avenue.
Had dinner on a date night. I’ve lived in the area for almost 25 years and, I’ve never eaten here before. It was so delicious.
Great place to have a drink and have some good food. Great laid-back atmosphere always hits the spot after work or on a Saturday.
