The street tacos here are amazing! The chimichanga with carnitas is awesome, too. Great cheese dip and habanero salsa. Food comes out in less than 10 minutes almost every time. It's about a 20 minute drive but totally worth it, and we have a Mexican restaurant 3 minutes away from our house. Great job, Jalapeños!

Absolutely my favorite place to get Mexican food in the treasure valley, love the atmosphere and all the booths they have for comfortable seating, I ordered a strawberry virgin dacori, and it was amazing, the burrito was very good (shown below) I forgot to take a photo before but that’s midway through, I really enjoyed eating here and I loved the decorations everywhere. 5/5 stars

Greeted and seated quickly upon arrival. It was 3pm and restaurant was not busy due to the time of day so we were seated in the bar. Chips, salsa and bean dip came out quickly. All three were good and after chatting with our server we learned the salsas, beans and sauces are made in-house which is nice! My husband got the carnitas lunch entree and I got the Irma special and some margaritas. Drinks were served quickly and really good. Food brought out soon after and was nice and hot. Everything was so good and we had plenty to take home. Bill was around $60 for two entrees and two Cadillac margaritas so not bad prices. Service was outstanding. There was an older gentleman checking on us who brought more salsa and asked about food/service and was really nice. Our server Stephanie was great, lovely smile, funny and great attitude all around. We have eaten here about 10 times now and the food and service have always been great and we will keep coming back!

I ordered the California Burrito and my Husband ordered carne asada!! The portions were huge! The food was excellent, Alex was Super!! Very friendly and professional! Definitely will be back and I hope Alex tends to us again! Phenomenal place!! Thank you so much Jalopenos!!!

This is our go-to for Mexican food cravings. The wait staff is always top notch, the food is excellent, and the prices are acceptable for the quality and amount of food you get. Will always go back!!
Super fast and professional service and our orders were out stat. Great bar area and amazing frozen margaritas. Overall, 4/5. Since it kind of compact seating so not recommended for large groups more than 5/6. I really wanted more of the Mexican flavors I’m used to but some of the happy hour options were kind of bland. Great value and portions though.

We both had the California burrito, diner size. I did notice a difference in the price we were charged. Two bucks more than the menu price. The food was good. Just a little bland for me but I like spice. Nothing a little hot sauce won't fix. Overall a great experience!
Wheelchair accessibility: The staff was quick to help out by opening the doors for us which is nice. Kinda hard to open doors while the hubby is pushing me around.

My husband and I had a late lunch on 09/20/2024. We ordered 2 of the #6 dinners with 2 beers totaling $51.14. There were a lot of the seeds in both Chille Rellenos making them too hot to eat. The server said it was the seeds that were left in the Chilli and not scraped from the Chilli making them hot. We did not finish our meal, we paid our bill; it will be awhile before we go back. The food here sucks and is way overpriced. Our total was $40 for the crappiest mexican food I have ever had. I ordered chicken tacos with rice and beans..... expecting mexican chicken tacos. I received 2 plain chicken tacos with over cooked bland chicken. Nothing inside. NOTHING! On the plate was a small side of dried up pico de gallo. I had to ask a random staff person for salsa and she was so confused what I was asking for. WTH? The rice was decent and the beans tasted premade. Our server was ridiculous and couldn't be bothered with doing her job.
