Great dining experience, I stopped in after an appointment on my way home. They made exactly what I wanted to eat. The spices and seasoning are authentically unique and very tasty. The service was great. I noticed the server smiled and greeted everyone that entered the restaurant serving those that dined in and those who had orders to go. The atmosphereIs pleasant and they have live music and special entertainment on scheduled dates. It is worth checking out.

Thank you Kolbeh, for helping to make one of the best nights of my life happen. We celebrated my birthday there and I was treated like royalty. MMM great food. I want more of everything I tried. But I think I will still have to try new things from this different culture brought to our area in such a delightful way!Bravo, 5 stars and I will be back.

Not recommended at all!Last night we were there as a group of friends so excited about finally having a “Presian restaurant” here in Idaho. I am not going through the whole experience since some friends already commented for themselves. But talking about my order:I ordered item#7 on the menu which is a chicken thighs kabob over rice ($18) and added a ground beef kabob a la card ($8). My order was the last one coming on the table, the lady server said that the kitchen was out of thighs and there was only one piece rather that the whole skewer on my plate. I was offered some chicken breast, but I refused it as I don’t like chicken breast, BUT it would be a proper business manner not to charge me for the one-piece chicken kabob! Or let me know before bringing the plate on the table, I would rather change my order. The beef kabob was awful on its own, rough, tough, and burnt outside. We all understand that these might happen specifically when a business is new and taking baby steps. Though the worst thing here is not the quality of food but how a manager could reply to costumer’s feedback so rude and cry crocodile tears!Mr. Owner, you are right! We had to look you in the eyes last night and tell you the truth that your food was awful. Maybe we were shocked by your service! These are direct quotes from the manager:“Clearly it is an attack at this point on a fellow Persian.”“We are quite happy to know YOU will not be back to our restaurant.”IS THAT HOW YOU ADDRESS REVIEWS?

I was super excited when I heard Kolbeh Bar & Grill opened in Idaho. I encouraged 18 of my friends to try it and spend an evening there, but I had to apologize to all of them for suggesting it. Now, I like to categorize my comment in three sections:1- Food: I ordered barg. It was prepared in a reasonable amount of time, unfortunately it's the only positive thing I can tell about the food. The food portion was quite small and the quality is very low to medium. They served every two people in a small bowl which tasted like shirazi salad but it was not. Overall with that food price you can get much better food anywhere.2- Service: the waiter was a nice lady who was more than happy to see us (a group of 19 people) there and greet us nicely. And again it was the only positive thing I can tell about the service. They don't bring spoons for Persian food unless you ask them ?.3- Atmosphere: I have no comment regarding that cause I don't care about it, but it's not a place you like to spend time and socialize.Overall, I don't recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The Koobideh kebab I ordered was burnt on the outside and completely raw on the inside. The pictures on social media are definitely misleading. Save your money and avoid this place at all costs!

I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the food and the service I received yesterday. The overall experience fell far below my expectations.

This is one of the worst restaurants I have ever been. The food was really bad, and the service was awful. For example, when they served the bread, they fell on the floor, and they just placed it on the table ?They served a small bowl of salad for two, and the food was not cooked well and did not taste good either, and the portion was too small.Don't waste your money.I had to add more detail due to the way the owner replied, and I could not reply back. One of our friends found a piece of hair on the food, and as we complained, the waitress said it is not my hair, and the owner took off his cap, and said hey look I don't have hair at all, and did not even apologize. Now, instead of asking what the issue was, and making sure he is going to improve their service, just trying to insist the way they treat customers is fine, and I should not have written a review.

Everything was so fresh & delicious! Very authentic and served by people who very clearly care about sharing their culture. A little expensive, but you get an amazing meal in return.

Food was wonderful and our waitress was very kind and did a great job refilling our drinks.Dietary restrictions: Lots of options for gluten free people and did not notice a lot of dairy but not sure.Parking: When we came at about 6 pm the parking lot was mostly empty.

Best food but small portions, they make almost perfect drinks . Good service altogether I would recommend this Kolbeh for all the mama and poppa bears.

Amazingly great tasting Persian cuisine! The only true Persian food in the Treasure Valley. Mike the owner is a fantastic host and goes out of the way to make sure you have a great experience.

This place is not good. To expensive for the little bit you get. Zullee is way better and the taste is 100% better. I will not be going back here. They don't even have a kids menu.
