This place has great Queso and good food, but the music is very, very loud. Our table of just 5 couldn't even have a conversation. We met there around 11 on a Sunday, so it was not crowded. Sad not to be able to visit with guest.

It's an expensive Taco place. You pay for a nice atmosphere and the convenienceof it being near other downtown attractions. I really like the El Torro. A steak taco. All tacos are 6.00 each for regular size. There is a 6 mini street tacos for a little less. Cocktails are no less than 10.00.
The options for normal non alcoholic drink are water, orange juice, coffee and i think the other was milk or something else random. As a customer, I'm not all that impressed with the overall value. We have a lot of equally good Taco options in the area, for a better price, I will probably not pay for food here again. It's not my style.
Dietary restrictions: Lactose free accommodation but suffers in quality.

We’ve been going here since it opened. For some reason, they just can’t seem to get their tacos right. Almost every time they are dry or overcooked. Everything else about the place is great. Drink selection is always on point. The bar is great. Their atmosphere is excellent. Service is generally pretty good. We still go, just not for the food.

The food was great but I don't go anymore because the music is unbearably loud. If you don't want to feel like you're at a techno-rave in the middle of the day, don't go here. Also the chairs are super uncomfortable. Wish the "atmosphere" was less like a nightclub so people who don't want a migraine / hearing damage could eat there.

Brand new neat place to take your pup, have a brew, play games, watch sports. No food in house but they have rotating food trucks.

This place is our spot! The food is amazing. I would say I would like to sit inside more because they are always busy on the weekends and you get stuck outside but it doesn’t take anything away from my experience. Great place for family and friends.

I've been coming to Mesa for years, always enjoying the food, drinks, and service. However, my experience on 3/7/2025 was the worst yet.
My group of six had finished our food and drinks and paid. We were still enjoying our night when a woman approached us, claiming she had a party of 20 waiting for our seats. Note that Mesa doesn’t take reservations, yet she insisted they’d been waiting 1.5 hours—the same time we’d been seated. Instead of staff handling the situation, they allowed another customer to pressure us—and other seated customers in the area meant for the waiting party—to leave, which was unacceptable.
When we decided to order dessert, a staff member, clearly stressed about the waiting party, asked if we’d move to another table. We complied out of understanding but it shouldn’t have come at the expense of paying customers. Staff later admitted they were unaware the woman had been rushing guests. They comped one dessert, but we had already paid, so further compensation wasn’t an option.
Our issue isn’t with the waiting party (aside from the rude customer) but with Mesa’s handling of the situation. If they knew a large group was on the waitlist, they shouldn’t have seated us there. If they can’t accommodate big parties, they need to set boundaries or implement reservations. This experience was disappointing, and I hope Mesa does better in the future.
Food and atmosphere are great. It’s modern and rustic all at once. The happy hour drinks are good. Be sure to try the Cowboy Queso for an appetizer!

Was told by the woman greeting people at the front that the Mexican people I was with wouldn't like the tacos there, clearly a very racist comment. Do better.

Margarita was great. Food was just okay. Tortillas were tough. Music is horrible, loud nightclub music which makes it hard to hear. Service was less than great but it was a busy night. Would probably not go back.

Tacos here were so bad. They were cold when we got them and also just had no flavor. The “atmosphere” was just super loud music and odd/uncomfortable seating. I definitely won’t return and wouldn’t advise anyone else to eat here.

Came on a busy day…valentines and it was kind of a let down. After a 30 minute wait, we ordered the chips and triple dip (guacamole, salsa, and queso) chips were extremely salty but dips were delicious (especially the queso). The happy hour drink menu is limited to anything other than tequila so we weee kind of out in that. Ordered first name basis and it was delicious. When it came around to ordering dinner we chose to go with nachos and the pork quesadillas. When it got to our table the quesadilla was cold and the cheese was sprinkled cold ontop of tortilla chips. Asked the server if we could get actual nachos, they were taken to the kitchen counter and put under a heat lamp, returned with them semi melted. 4 drinks (2each), an appetizer, non nachos and a quesadilla later was 100$ after tip.
