I've been here several times since they have opened. Each time being a little different and every time I somehow am seated in the same spot lol!
The service is always top notch. Never have had to wait long, with staff always accommodating and receptive. The drinks are actually some of my favorite in downtown. (Try the La Sandia)
The food has always been good.. but not great or enough to make me visit consistently.
Every time I go back, I remember why.
The meat is always just very salty tasting meat, not to mention very wet.
I understand a lot of meats are cooked slowly and contain a lot of juicy-ness which make them so amazing! I also understand that the meats in the same pan/pot are used in various dishes. So flavors have to be a certain way to fit the profile for multiple dishes on the menu.
But my brunch this morning was dissapointing.
The pork didn't taste the best. To me, it tasted like very salty wet ham. As soon as I started digging into the beautifully displayed dish, I remembered that the pork and chicken both had me in previous visits. Both being very wet, unfavorable and salty. I gather that the ingredients with the dish are contributing to the flavor of the protein included. But the meat has just ruined the dishes I've tried.
But back to brunch. The taste of the ham was so strongly related to salty lunch meat flavor, and was not ideal. I did let the waiter know of my disappointment and didn't end up of finishing my meal.
Of course, all this is my own opinion on the matter, and maybe these are the kind of flavors/ dishes they are going for.
I recommend giving this place a try.
But I'll be looking for some new spaces for my taco fix. I hope the absolute best for their awesome business!
Also, the table I somehow always got sat at is always wobbly lol! Just kinda funny coincidence.

We added our large party to the waitlist well over an hour before arriving, hoping to minimize the wait. Unfortunately, we ended up waiting about 2.5 hours asking for updated in between before asking for a manager. At that point, we were told that a table had finished eating and paid but was still visiting, and the staff did not want to ask them to leave. We understand wanting to be courteous to guests, but the lack of communication and the extended wait made the experience challenging for a group of our size.

Very impressed. The brussel sprouts and taters were so good and I’m definitely putting this on my list to return to!

Their 4 mini tacos are delicious! Had the steak. Guacamole and white queso also very good. Heated and covered patio.

What a great little find! The atmosphere draws you in with its modern and industrial vibe. The tacos and quesadillas are phenomenal! But the drinks...!! WOW! Totally unique and original. The Oaxaca Old fashioned and the Espresso Martini with Parmesan cheese will blow your mind! You need to try them!

Went during the early evening and the shadow from the building kept us at the perfect temp in the outdoor seating.
Food was tasty and decently priced so we will be back for sure.

To expensive for me. Appetizers and a couple of margaritas we're small and very expensive.
Smallest street tacos i've ever seen and they were only filled halfway with meat restless onions terrible tacos.

Street tacos have no taste and over priced. Queso was good, chips okay. Drinks were good.

The atmosphere and seating options were fine, but the incredibly loud same beat dance music all evening made it impossible to have a reasonable conversation with the group.
The service was spotty, but friendly enough and they got the orders straight.
Margaritas were good and a reasonable value when purchased by the pitcher.
The street tacos and cowboy queso were good and fit well with the cocktails.
In all, waaaayyyy overpriced for tacos and cocktails. Likely would not have chosen it myself, and don't plan to go back. Too many other places to try in Nampa downtown. 😉
