Drove all the way from Boise because of the great reviews. Got there about a half hour before posted closing time. The place was deserted, awful metal music blaring. We looked at the menu and the employee informed us that he could not serve us, as they had already cleaned up and put away the food. It was 8:35pm. Not cool.

I love this place for a healthier lunch that's easy to take to go. They're gluten free friendly (although it's not a gluten free kitchen), and the food is really yummy. The peanut sauce is my favorite. Plus they have actual boba tea that isn't a smoothie and that's a huge win in my book. Only places it's lacking is that the service is very slow if you have a group of more than two or three or a group ahead of you, honestly, it's usually pretty empty though. Also, the meat is only so-so. I like it well enough, but don't have your hopes up if you're a Thai meat connoisseur.

Looking for a somewhat healthy lunch option. Decided to try Monsoon because of the many good reviews. I was not disappointed. Like many of the new "bowl" restaurants, you get your choice of a starch (white, brown rice, or noodles), proteins (pork, tofu, chicken, or beef) vegetables, and sauces. I had the white rice (sticky rice...yumm), Vietnamese pork, orange curry sauce, split the veggies between mushrooms, and corn/coconut mix, and added a garnish that I can not pronounce (It had pickled mustard greens, peppers, etc...was really good). My meal was FULL of flavor....lots of stuff going on....really enjoyed it. The portion was big, and I left very full... I will return again...

You get a lot of food in their bowls! There was enough food for me to keep half for another meal. The price is reasonable. I'd like a smaller bowel for like $1-2 cheaper and I'd eat here more. They deliver too which has been nice. The restaurant is really nice inside too.

This place is fantastic. Stopped in for my first time and they made me chicken Pad Thai which was great. I tasted their peanut lime sauce and it's amazing. Definitely going to be one of my regular take out restaurants here in Nampa! The staff were super friendly, and the portions were huge for the price.

Stopped in for lunch the other day because I noticed it was a new place close to home. I was the only customer when I arrived so the nice gal at the counter took her time to explain how it all worked. She gave me a sample of two of the meat options I was debating and helped me pick a sauce by asking questions about - if I like spicy, if I prefer more dry food or moist, etc. I went with the curry chicken, yellow curry, and squash. She cooked the squash fresh while I chatted with a new customer that told me all about the dishes she loves and why. The new gal ordered pad Thai and the smell was amazing while it was being prepared. So much so that I was tempted to give it a shot in the future. I never order it because I've always found an aversion to the taste of fish sauce in the recipe but this smelled so good, I had to ask if it contained the dreaded fish sauce. Neither of the workers knew, off the top of their head, but one of the chefs went and found a binder of ingredients and looked it up for me. The pad Thai does contain the sauce but I still might try it anyway because it smelled awesome, got a rave review from customer 2, and the dude took the time to look it up for me. All pros and no cons for this place. The yellow curry was spicy as promised but a perfect, mellow heat and not so hot that it was the only flavor, I was offered napkins and utensils since my order was to go, the food was fresh and hot, and there was enough in the bowl that I could have spread it out over three meals if I didn't give my husband the left overs. He would probably need two bowls to satisfy him if he were to go there for dinner but he could be satisfied for a reasonable price with one bowl for lunch. I don't eat much so it was a great deal for my lunch and then dinner last night (and hubs appetizer before his dinner). Will definitely be going back! PS. The Thai iced tea is legit.

We had a company event in Nampa on Saturday and decided to try Monsoon for the first time. There are so many combinations available. I had the cilantro lime rice, pork, peanut sauce and corn with coconut AND Boba. It was delicious! So fresh, flavors were amazing with just enough heat. We'll definitely make the trip from Boise to eat here again soon!
Love this place! It's spotless, customer service is friendly and attentive, parking was great, and food was overall so yummy that I went back two days in a row! Definitely will go again. Had the jasmine rice bowl with Thai peanut sauce. Absolutely delicious!

You have two options Panda Express or monsoon Asian Grill-choose these guys!! I went here for the first time today I was blown away by the flavor profile of my food, the portion size, the number of options, and it's healthy fast Asian fusion food. I guess they posted something social media about needing more customers to stay open not sure how people don't frequent this business it's so tasty. I got the drunken rice (spicy) with chili spiced beef and corn/grated coconut. It was the perfect blend of Asian flavor and heat. I loved the vegetables the corn was a fun interesting tasty option. I am not a veggie person so when I say I liked the veggies that's saying something!! The drunken rice was some of the best fried rice I have had in a while. So do whatever you have to get here support this local business and enjoy some unique healthy flavorful Asian food!!
