Ordered online for pickup. When I went to the counter to pick up order I noticed the shakes were not marked as to what shake was what. I asked to have them marked. They did not mark them. I then asked which shake DIDNT have chocolate added as 1 of the 4 shakes did not have chocolate added. Was then told ALL shakes had chocolate added. She reviewed the receipt, noted that she missed the fact that 1 of them didn't want chocolate added and asked if that was okay. I told her no. She then stared for an insanely long time and did nothing. She did not ask me if I wanted her to remake it or ANYTHING, just stared at me. This was an 80$ order and the store was NOT busy. I honestly recieve significantly better service at a fast food restraunt. To say that I am upset is an understatement. What a joke.

This place is a joke.. 3 kids trying to cook, tossing my food around like it's a seafood market. This isn't a restaurant at all its more of a place of let's "hang out" and the manager allows it..absolutely the worse place I've ever been too..do not go here!!

This may be one of the longest freakin' reviews you've ever seen but frankly my darlings, I don't give a damn because... 1) you're not required to read it and 2) I must mentally cleanse myself of a beyond frustrating experience! I ordered online well ahead of time. I placed an order to be picked up 3 hours later after my fiancé and I were done at a Christmas lights event. It was our big before christmas date night this week. We arrived to smash burger a little early but only about 10 minutes before the order was supposed to be due. We put in a very large order that included 2 burgers, 2 orders of wings, 2 onion rings and a drink so we definitely felt that they would have at the very least started on the order by this time considering how many items we had and my fiancé whose been to this location before told me that sometimes they even have the order ready a bit earlier. He went inside the restaurant while I waited in the car just to ask about our order, see how much time we would have before it was done and the team member he spoke to said " we haven't started working on it yet" so he said "okay, well how much longer do you think it will take before you do start it and when will it be ready?" To which she replied " I DON'T KNOW" and walked away. The audacity!My fiance was extremely unhappy with that response. He came back out to the car upset telling me what happened and asked if I wanted to just get a refund and go somewhere else now because clearly they did not prioritize our order even though we paid and placed it online well a head of time. Seeing how upset he was, I agreed. I tried to cancel it through my online account, but it said the order was in progress, so I couldn't cancel through there, so he went back inside and spoke with the manager. He told the manager how he was unhappy with the wait time cosnidering they didn't even start the order yet and he made it known he was even more unhappy with the service from the employee he spoke to and he demanded a refund to our card. She said she would get the order refunded but it would take 5 business days for the refund to process which wasn't ideal for us considering that's nearly $60 we're out until it fully processes but he agreed to that and left the store hungry and mad. He stated to me that all the employees seemed very unprofessional in the store as other employees were talking about how they're so busy and got so many orders to fill and were just standing around laughing about it rather than doing the job they are getting paid to do. Though the manager said she would refund the order I'm very nervous about that too as I got text notifications after he had her refund the order saying ''your order is ready at smash burger" and asking for a rating of the experience. I'm not sure why they'd send me that after we cancelled the order with her. We will definitely keep an eye on our account to ensure the charges are reversed in 5 days. I looked forward to trying some of Smashburgers food so it's a real shame but if this is how this business operates, then we will never come back and we certainly will not recommend smash burger to anyone we know.Please do better! When someone places a BIG order that they paid for online well ahead of time, make sure you start that order at least 15 minutes earlier than the time that order is supposed to be due and when a customer asked you a question DON'T respond by just saying "i don't know". You lost 2 customers last night who spent nearly $60 on an order, and we were VERY upset with how your team handled even a simple question. I can't in good conscience recommend Smashburger to anyone I know, and while I really looked forward to trying some of your menu items, we will not return after this experience. Our date night was almost ruined by this experience but luckily we found a Mexican restaurant in the area that provided much better customer service than Smashburger does.

It took 20+ minutes to get my order after I paid for it. The burger was charred at the edges and tater tots were just lukewarm. I would not recommend this location.

I had a terrible food experience the last time I was there. I wrote a review 8/29/2023 and management communicated back to me. They sent me a credit to come back and give them another try. I have to say I was not disappointed at all this time! The food preparation, service and quality this time around was top notch. As long as the food continues to stay this delicious, I will be a repeat customer! I'm glad to see that the food in Caldwell/Nampa is every bit as good as Smashburger burgers I have enjoyed in other states!

Haven't been in there a while, but last time I was there, I had ordered a shake and then afterwards realized I forgot my wallet, which never happens until that day, and when I had the chance to tell the guy about it, he had already made the shake and said don't worry about it. Very humbling for me and he was a cool dude. ? shakes and food are awesome there as well.

An employee named Christopher took our order today 9/22/23, and he was phenomenal. He was the only employee working the front. He was juggling taking walk-in orders, helping door dashers, and preparing the food for all online orders. He was a rockstar. What I don’t appreciate is that at one point, Christopher was getting overwhelmed and asked that one of the 4 people in the back come and help. The response he received was each one of them watching and laughing as he tried to accomplish multiple things at once. Each person in the back was standing there talking. Not a single one was working.Then, after asking for help, the cook with blonde hair and a black Carhartt hat and the cook with the long curly brunette hair and a grey smash burger hat decided to make snide comments towards Christopher and act very immature. Blondie with the carhartt hat even got upset when Christopher walked to the back to catch a breather for less than a minute. Smashbuger should do a better job at evaluating their employees. Bullies are not a good look for the company.CHRISTOPHER DESERVES A RAISE! PROPS TO HIM FOR HOLDING HIS COMPOSURE AND TREATING EACH CUSTOMER WITH THE UTMOST RESPECT AND KINDNESS.
