No greeting when opening the door , just unlocks walks away . The menudo was very bland , for the price you pay you would expect freshness and corn tortillas look as if microwaved. I returned the tortilla and asked for fresher ones and they just brought out rewarded microwaved ones . Waitress Never checked on my table , not once.

My family and I love this place. It’s probably my personal favorite place to eat in the entire treasure valley. I rave about this place to everyone I know. My brother and I make it a habit to eat here every time he visits. You cannot beat the value here. They have amazing food, even better than other Tacos El Ray locations. I haven’t had a single bad experience there and I’ve been going back there routinely for the past 5 years at least. I love getting the Tacos Al Pastor! Seriously my personal favorite. The chips and salsa are next level too. I don’t know anywhere that serves better salsa. If I could only go to one restaurant for the rest of my life it would be this one. The place always feels lively and the staff are always so genuinely kind. That’s all I can say for now because I’m making my stomach rumble and my mouth water.

I went with the chili relano, and the wife had chicken flauta. Both are meals where delicious . Highly recommended. If your craving authentic Mexican food. Will definitely be going back.

This is my family’s go to average weeknight sit down Mexican eatery. Fresh made tortillas make their tacos some of the best around! We love everything on the menu here but their carnitas, barbacoa, lengua and shrimp el diabla are top notch!Dollar for dollar this eatery is the absolute best bang for the buck in the entire valley!See for yourself!
