First time going and the atmosphere wasnt what I expected. The gal that helped me didnt get my order correct. And she was impatient with getting me through. I wanted to order a dr pepper along with my meal and a shake but she didnt let me finish my order. I then got my food and it wasnt right. I asked for ham on my double cheeseburger bc I saw they had that on the menu but no ham. I asked for an oreo with rootbeer shake and it doesnt taste like either of those. And overall it was just really expensive for what I got. Food still tastes good but wasnt happy with the service.

My first time. I tried the fish sandwich with fries. The fish sandwich is good with a large fish portion. The fries are also good. If you want something different from a burger all the time, try the fish sandwich.

Finally after a few years of searching we have the best drive in. It's wheeler's Handout in Nampa, Id.. Four times their having different items each time. Every time the food was excellent. You can't go wrong here. Value for the money you spend and you leave after a great meal.
All I wanted was a vanilla ice cream cone. What they served me wasn’t ice cream, it was ice milk or some strange concoction that tasted weird and was icy versus creamy. I suspect ownership is trying to save dollars by using some kind of imitation ice cream, big mistake…
I was directed to Wheeler's by a friend of mine who grew up eating there And sung their praises. The reputation didn't really hold up when I brought my family there. The few outdoor tables they had for customers were covered with multiple layers of torn and dirty plastic table cloths. They didn't get my son's order correct which meant he ate his food after everyone else was already finished eating (No rush to make it right). Also, the cost compared to how much food we were given didn't add up. The burger patties didn't even fill out their buns. A double burger was the size of a single stack anywhere else. Disappointing.

We Doordashed our order since our kids were out with friends we wanted some burgers in for a little stay home date night! I was really hoping to enjoy the food here, especially hearing how fresh and delicious there burgers were! unfortunately that was not the case - ( our food arrived hot, and seemingly fresh) mushroom swiss burger had zero flavor which was sooooo disappointing because it looked mouth watering! Pickle chips were too thinly sliced and over cooked which resulted in the pickle being shriveled and rubbery. Those went straight to the trash ?. Cheese curds again no flavor - tots were basic as well as fries. Dr. Pepper was flat. We don’t even think we will try them again but if we ever do I’ll update my review.

Wheelers has always been our favorite. It's been here since we were all kids. Sadly, they have fallen. We had our last burnt, not long juicy burger, that didn't fit the bun, over salted fries meal. What really angers me is ... this meal was not cheap- $13, for something you couldn't eat! They have truly lost the pride in what they use to be. Won't be back!

We went tonight for a finger steak basket and it had half as many finger steaks this time, kinda doughy and not cooked through(more red meat than pink). Not worth it for the price, consistency would be good. Don't know if we'll chance it again.

Well the food was good but not what I expected. I got a double mushroom and Swiss burger and only received a single patty. I ordered a large cheese curd and got a half handful. The “sause” they put on the side and force people to take is absolutely appalling I don’t know what it is but I don’t want any more. This is the third time coming here and hoping maybe it was an off day. It was not it’s just bad food. I didn’t like the experience at all. Only 2 of 5 because the people who helped us were very polite and helpful. That “sause” has gotta go in the bin. I ordered this for takeaway and all I took from this was shame. I could have spent my 30$ elsewhere and known exactly what I was getting.
