We really wanted to love Yanni's, after having heard rave reviews. So we went, and it was a very disappointing experience. The waiter probably had an off day, his demeanor screamed he didn't want to be there. Kids' plate came without fries, even though specifically ordered, we were not asked if we wanted any drinks so we stuck with water, the pita bread wasn't provided either, and at no time were we asked for any dessert either. We left a tip hoping it would go to the kitchen because the food in general was good. Service, however, horrific.
Heard they closed permanently a week after we were there. Honestly, it's sad, but unsurprising.

Our 1st time here at Yanni's and we'll definitely come back. The food is delicious and refreshing. I had a lamb gyro and husband a calamari dinner. Wonderful! The flavors, freshness, and different from chain restaurants. The staff very welcoming and the atmosphere very pleasant. We wish Yanni's much success!

We had dinner at Yanni's tonight. We loved it! Authentic, fresh, and delicious. My husband was skeptical as he's never had Greek food, but he cleared his plate and gave it 5 stars! The restaurant has a nice ambiance, the service was great, and we really enjoyed our meal. So nice to get away from chain restaurants and experience an authentic Greek meal. In Nampa!!! We'll be back. Please check this new restaurant out and help them become a success in our neighborhood. We need more nice places like this!

You know that feeling you get when you eat something and it perfectly hits the spot? That’s what eating here feels like. We were staying next door and walked over for dinner, and this is by far the best Greek restaurant I’ve been to. And I live in the Seattle area.

Try the Greek fest. $52 cost but enough for four meals total. Daytime afternoon is the time to go if you can.
