Buddy's Italian Restaurant

I feel this place deserves a recent review. We were driving through town on our way back home to utah from boise. it had been a long drive and we were tired of being in the car. initially we were going to go to pizza hut but their dine in was closed. a Google search sent us to buddy's. When we parked we weren't sure if they were open or where the front was but found our way inside. it was small and cozy. we were invited to sit anywhere and looked over the menu. my husband chose a pizza and I got the spaghetti dinner. i didn't realize all of the courses that came with it! antipasto, garlic bread, salad, a main course, and dessert! my husband and I left satisfied and with leftovers to take home. staff was alert and friendly. proces were decent for the amount of food. and it was a nice cozy place to get off the road for a while. I would drive the two hours back anytime!

Great hometown standard. The salad is the real highlight. Get it with any meal. Pizza, pasta and sandwiches are all solid. The garlic bread with cheese is my favorite.

My family and I decided to try this small Italian restaurant while we’re visiting from South Carolina. The atmosphere was fine not over the top. My parents decided to get a calzone. The calzone was not cook through all the way. And I got the Parmesan Chicken which the chicken was very tough and dry also The Alfredo sauce I asked for was thick like gravy. Overall, this place did not meet my expectations. And highly do not recommend I would not go back there again!

Wow! Inconceivable! I admit the outside of the building had me doubting my decision but once we entered we found ourselves in an intimate, well designed, cozy environment. The food portions are huge, so next time we'll share a single meal. The salad is a star, the ravioli is excellent, the bread, the spumani, everything! Staff is friendly, solid, and efficient. Well done team!

Was visiting looking at ISU with my daughter. The food was subpar to say the least. I could hear someone yelling at the employees in the back. When The waitress came around she apologized for the yelling. Apparently it was the Manager engaging with his employees in the kitchen.

Wow! I didn't expect this good of Italian food on the West Coast. Between the 4 of us, we had the Chick meatball and the double Italian sausage sandwich. We split the sandwiches and shared a salad and still had too much wonderful food. Service was great also! Highly recommend this place!
