El Caporal Mexican Restaurant

The food was amazing got the sheilaquila plate a little on the pricier side but it was amazing I got to say the water and 7 up were not great at all but overall I got a treat for my birthday from there and it was amazing I would totally recommend except for those two drinks otherwise it's five stars all the cross except for those two drinks and FYI the red sheilaquila play is less spicy than the green sheilaquila plate

I’ve been to all three El Caporal locations, and the one in Pocatello is by far the best! The restaurant was spotless, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.
Our server was amazing, she recommended a few dishes I hadn’t tried before, including the Molcajete Caporal, and it was absolutely delicious! The salsa is also amazing and definitely the best in poky. Easily my favorite El Caporal location!

We always stop here on our way south or north going home. The food is so tasty with reasonable prices and the service is pleasant, attentive and efficient.

El cap in Pocatello has the best service. The servers and staff are always quick and very friendly. They also have the best drinks and authentic food! I definitely recommend giving them a try if you haven’t !

Ordered taquitos with carnitas and a grand molcajete absolutely fabulous flavor and the atmosphere and the service was truly fantastic! Great work! Flavor was very very good!

Ordered a giant margarita for myself. Not a drop of alcohol in it. Also didnt realize it was $40 because they dont have prices on their drink menu. I knew it would be expensive but not that much....and to have no alcohol in it was very disappointing. I drank the entire thing too. Their food is very bland and watery as well. No pinche bueno!!!

Slow service and waited about an hour for our food. Our service rarely checked on us. The people next to us, that got there after us, got their food before us.

I’m so full and happy right now, I just had to write this!
One of the best Mexican food I ever had + Complimentary chips, great salsa, and even a free little dessert.
The food and service are great! And honestly deserve more than just 4.3 stars! Not a date, but it definitely felt like one ❤️✨

The server didn’t write anything down and had to asked 3 times what we wanted then still got things wrong. There was beard hair in one of our plates definitely not from us because we don’t have beards. And when the bill came they had added charges to each plate not in line with the menu prices. Then processed to tell us the prices had gone up. But that is not ok if your prices go up then you change your menus. Would not recommend!
