Cute place for an easy grilled cheese and tomato soup. Good seating options if you are doing computer work. A little busy and loud at times, so not ideal if you are trying to take calls or need serious concentration. Overall, I'd come

Today, our office, Cedar Hills Family Dentistry, ordered lunch in for our staff. Gate City Coffee did not disappoint. We ordered a variety of different soup and sandwich combos. Wonderful soup choices were tomato bisque and chili. The top contenders for sandwiches were the Classic Rueben, Roast Beef & Pepper Jack, Turkey/bacon/Swiss and the Ham & Swiss. Everything was absolutely delicious! Thank you Bill and Elaine! 5 stars !! ❤️❤️. Lisa Higbee, RDH, BS

First, the historic building with lovely handcrafted angeles in the plaster border at the top of walls by ceiling are amazing to see. Always great service and and thoughtfully made coffees. Fresh baked pastries and probably one of the best parts Is the solid variety of local Idaho artist Is handcrafted arts available to purchase. Everything from earrings to pottery, to handed scarves and shawls.Parking: This is downtown street parking. However, there is a nearby lot of an adjoining business that is available with free parking

I have been to coffee shops around the world as travel and coffee are two of my favorite things. From Venice (Italy), London, Paris, Riyadh (KSA), Manama (Bahrain), Jamaica, San Juan (Costa Rica) and all over the U.S. This coffee shop is now my favorite. My wife and I happened upon it during our recent trip to Idaho. From the moment we walked in we were captivated by the ambience. So serene and charismatic. I enjoyed a lumberjack easy syrup while she drank a black and white. We came back a handful of times over our stay concluding with our latest this previous Friday evening. Each encounter was perfect. Both the service and ambience were impressive. This previous Friday however was a moment I will remember for a lifetime. When we entered we heard an angelic voice and realized that we were listening to an actual live singer. Talk about sensory overload! We sat and enjoyed our coffee as the angelic voice graced our ears. Our reason for coming to Idaho was in consideration of moving there. We visited Idaho Falls, Pocatello and Twin Falls during our stay. Needless to say I’m leaning towards a move to Pocatello where I might enjoy a lumberjack and the most amazing coffee shop more often. Perhaps this next time I might even have a sandwich or soup which they offer as well.My advice in life is to find what you love and do it as often and as much as possible. My advice for today is to visit Gate City Coffee! I assure you that you won’t be disappointed.

Probably best coffee downtown. Friendly hours. Meaning one can still work 9 to 5 and then grab coffee after work. Now with the underpass being closed it may not be very easy and more time consuming. Parking can be somewhat challenging.
Such a nice relaxing place to have coffee, lunch, or breakfast. Prices are fair and employees have always been great. My daughter loves the game selection and looking through all the local merch they have for sale. Our favorite coffee place in town.

This place is the best, definitely my favorite little spot in town. Food and coffee is delicious, I love seeing local artist work, everyone is very nice.Tips for the best experience- Make sure you have your glasses!! The mounted menu can be difficult to read, it’s tiny print. I have astigmatism and only use glasses to drive but cannot read their menu at all without them. If you’re thinking about getting a bagel ask when they were delivered. I’ve had a couple very stale bagels and that sucks. Other than that, zero notes. Best place for coffee and brunch/lunch on town by far.

I love this place, the owners are so kind. Coffee is on point if the right people are making it for you. I will say that my family avoids them on the weekends because some of the employees have rotten attitudes and the quality of the coffee goes down significantly. I hope that changes so we can enjoy it on the weekends too.
