I was so happy to find a Greek restaurant here in Pocatello. I'm from Reno and love the place we found there. The Gyro here is one of the best I've had, and the cottage fries were very yummy. I'll definitely make this one of my regular stops when visiting.
came here on the whim with my friends. they sat us fast and we’re very welcoming. we did get sat right in front of the heater which was nice for a little bit. the food was so amazing i’ve never had greek food before but now i love it. our server, Peter, was very good and quick with his service and had such a fun personality. def will be back!
It's a hidden gem in old town Pocatello. You can't miss the blue awning out front and it would be a crime to miss out on the food. Best Greek food I've had in a long while. I am a globe traveler for 25 years who has tried all types of cuisines and this restaurant is a great representation of delicious Greek food.
We've enjoyed previous visits, but today was a different story. The restaurant smelled like someone was smoking in it, and our food sat on the counter for 15 minutes while tables that ordered after us had their food delivered to them. We were ahead of the lunch rush (only one other seated table when we arrived), so it wasn't busy. To top it off, the Poseidon sandwich was incredibly greasy and hadn't even been cut. The gyro was delicious as usual, and I think the staff was having a bad day outside of what we could see, but the cigarette smell made all the other things that much more pronounced.
It was the day of the Greek Festival so they were swamped! Took about an hour to get our food, but they kept us informed and made sure our drinks were full. The food was worth the wait. I had the combo and was pleased with everything. Can't wait to go back on a more normal day. The staff did great considering how packed the place was. I would have given 5 stars except for the wait and that was really just bad timing.
We have loved the Grecian Key for years. We greatly enjoy the people here. Many of our college friends visit and regularly want to meet at the Grecian Key, even after 15 and 20 years. I believe there is no better indication that what you will find here is excellent and unique![Update]My 11yr old son will attest to them having the best hot chocolate, and I will attest to them having the best onion rings anywhere!
I have just had the most magical experience with my server. She was so in tune with our needs at every step of our meal I was in awe. People take for granted what it takes to be at the top of the hospitality game. It's an art form. She made us feel so welcome and so appreciated. Here is to you! Best waitress in this town. SOPHIA: THIS ONE IS A KEEPER!!!!!
Local favorite, never disappoints! The service was spot on and the waitress was super friendly and on point! Wish I'd have gotten her name!
Very authentic it was great to get back to my roots and eat delicious food. It seemed to be a family run restaurant. Very nice service and very clean tables. I loved the artwork they had inside and it was overall a friendly environment.
Use to be great food, now a disorganized mess. Waited an for an hour and a half and still didn’t get food. Waitress tried to get our orders but the cook was in control. Couldn’t keep track off orders so many didn’t get there food. The owner found no fault with her kitchen staff. Don’t eat here, you will regret it.

Terrible experience. When I say I can’t believe it, I can’t believe the experience that we had. We waited over 1.5 hours for food. Which was not the problem, they were busy and it was totally understandable. When I started to not feel good we decided to get our food to go. So I took the baby out to the car and my husband told our waiter and paid. Well he waited for another 20/30 minutes and then was told by the waitress AFTER he paid that the cook already made his food and WAS NOT MAKING IT AGAIN. Like what? We didn’t get our food. Well my husband went in to talk to Sofie, the owner, the next day and she blamed the waiter and took the cooks side and gave us a gift card… like we’re going to eat there again? Hard pass.
I can’t believe this was my first time here! I’ve always heard great things about the Grecian Key and finally made the lunch trip. The patio was cool and shady. Our food came quickly and was so good! We had a regular Gyro, a Philly Gyro (my favorite), and cottage fries. I typically don’t like the taste of lamb, but this was cooked and seasoned to perfection. We had a large amount of fries for two people and we left feeling full. We will definitely be back!
Love this place. My kids beg me the make their favorite Greek dishes but man it's just not the same..always busy and always delicious... live music certain evenings as well..Definitely recommend this restaurant..
The best Gyro I have ever had. Blows Tom's Gyros out of the water. Got a burger this time and even it was top of my list on best burger I've ever had. Have never had a bad experience here and the staff is super cool and down to earth. 10/10. If I could give a higher rating I would. More people need to know about this place.
My father and I stopped in after a day of hiking. He wanted a specific Greek dish and from the photos it looked to be authentic greek. He ordered Slovakia, and the small village salad. I ordered the Gyro with feta, and OMG was it good! We've been to many high end Greek restaurants and this rival's there food. The chef came out to talk to us and explained he was part Sicilian and the owner was Greek. Everything is homemade, not a single thing on the menu is from the store. The Taziki sauce is homemade and he was actually in the process of making a fresh batch as we spoke. If you want great food, great service from the waitresses, and an all around great atmosphere. You gotta try this place! Closest to Greek cuisine as you can get to booking a flight!
