Jakers Bar and Grill

The staff were wonderful from the moment we entered and our server, Zoe was excellent. This location works perfectly as it's walking distance from our hotel and after being in a car all day, it's nice to stretch the legs. We started with a cocktail each and then Zoe brought us hot rolls with the signature honey butter. Then our dinners arrived. My husband and I each had a delicious caesar salad that was so fresh and just the right portion. Our steaks came out and they were perfectly cooked and flavourful. I had the cap steak and my husband had the center cut ribeye. Beautiful dinner!

We've stayed at the hotel near Jakers before and ordered takeout. This time we made plans to go inside and eat and both times it was wonderful. Food cooked well and delicious. Great waitress who was very attentive. And an atmosphere conducive to good conversation.

The dining room is upscale and clean. I had requested a window booth but request was not honored. Water was promptly brought to table but glasses were never refilled the rest of the meal. We had a long wait before the waitress took our order. My wife and I both ordered steak thick cut done medium, caesar salad, baked potato and a glass of cabernet wine. The salad arrive promptly and was fresh and good. When the cabernet arrived it was served cold. Who with any knowledge of wine serves red wine other than room temperature. When the steak finally arrived is was thin cut, maybe half inch thick but not more and well done. The baked potato was hot and good. This was not our first visit to Jakers but it now seems like the Forest Gump quote: "its like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get. I will not be buying gift cards here again this year. For fine dining, Sandpiper is the better value.

3 1/2 stars… Made a reservation on Wed Oct 9 th for Saturday the 12th.. 2 people at 6 pm.. requested a booth for our anniversary.. there was also another section asking if it was a special occasion, I again noted it was our anniversary.. on arrival, No booth, we got a table and not a mention of our anniversary.. I wanted to surprise my hubby but it didn’t work out to well.. kinda a let down.. don’t ask if u r going to ignore..

This was a horrible experience. Emy I think was her name. Short girl with dark hair was so rude and unfriendly. She was a bartender. Maybe your management should think about hiring and keeping someone who has zero personality and is frowning the whole time. If she doesn’t like her job, she shouldn’t be in the hospitality business. She is making your company look bad. I came in for a nice dinner and a drink and her poor attitude and lack of service ruined my night

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. I'll definitely be back!

Had an early dinner. Like 4. 2 nd time to eat there. I'm sorry people, I just really don't care for the food. Flavor was there for some it, but a burger and fries with overly salted everything, too much.

Worst food and drinks my wife and I have ever had. Our food order and cocktail orders were both wrong, the manager only offered to take a small amount off the bill. Denny's makes better steaks. Our server was awesome but I can't recommend this place.

I come to town for work a lot and this is always a mandatory stop on the agenda. The service is great. Food is delicious and reasonably priced. Always look forward to coming here.

Ordered a Thai noodle salad with steak. Ate part of the steak but the salad was missing ingredients and had other ingredients added in that were not on the menu and they were ingredients I do not like. Overall, it was not good at all. I let the server know and she talked to her manager. No discount was taken and the manager did not bother to come speak with me. Even a discount on the meal would have been appreciated. Highly disappointed and will not be back. No complaints about our server.
