Jakers was great! A reasonablly priced, medium upscale steakhouse located in Pocatello! Jakers reminds me a lot of Stanford's in the Portland, Oregon area.... almost exactly the same style food, ambiance and interior layout. I got the almond crusted chicken and wow it blew my taste buds out of the water! Absolutely delicious! I should also note that you get a great sized starter salad with your meal and home style buttered buns with honey butter!! Our server was super great and was very attentive to our groups needs throughout our meal. Prices are a little high, but you get great food and service for what you pay, so it's well worth it in my opinion! Highly recommend if you're in the Pocatello area!

Food was great. Seared ahi tuna app on bed of rice. Halibut with pecan crust was very good as well. Cooked perfectly. Nice bar, restaurant, clean. Tony was the bartender. Great service, very attentive. Would go back if ever thru Pocatello again.

Mar 10th @1700 Birthday,5 adults. 3 out of 5 adults ordered Prime Rib French Dip. 2 Adults had ordered this last time in Jan and felt it was the best ever! This time not so. Meat was way to rare, too much grissel made it tough to eat and meat was tasteless. Hard to believe Prime Rib. Needless to say we did not eat most of sandwich and was very disappointed especially where the previous visit was so good. The other 2 adults enjoyed their meals and all 5 enjoyed the side dishes. "Consistency" and returnees goes hand in hand.

Seared Ahi Tuna was good, not great. The trout was pan seared/fried with breading, which was odd. Back home pan seared/fried means seared in a pan ... no breading. Breaded fish is normally fried in oil like fish and chips. Nothing wrong with it, just peculiar to us.Service was prompt and friendly. Nice selection of beer on draguht.Good price for happy hour beer and wine. Appetizers are $3 off each, which is still twice what we pay in HOU, but I guess to be expected in Idaho. Here for a few days. May go back and try something else.

This was our first time, and we were excited for some great food, and that was all we expected. The staff was kind, and there is no complaint there, but everything else was a letdown. Bathrooms were dirty, we sat next to what used to be the salad bar, and it was full of stacked towels and crumpled papers, and the restaurant itself is not very well-kept. While this may seem minor, if this is what is presented to the guests, it makes you wonder what it looks like in the back. None of this would have bothered me much if the food wasn't so expensive and subpar. We used a gift card that we thought had $50 on it, but it ended up being $100. I was honestly disappointed because that meant we'd have to go back.

Dinner here after driving down from Helena and it was right next to our hotel. Wasn't too bad but we didn't stay long.

We are in town visiting from Oregon. We were looking for a good place for dinner and cocktails. This place was perfect. Great happy hour, great dinner menu, and great service! I wish I would've gotten our servers name in the bar area, as he was fantastic! He has a super deep voice and was very attentive. The coconut shrimp appetizer was exactly what I was craving. My husband was thrilled they had gluten free bun options. He also had a mud slide for dessert. This restaurant was exactly what we were looking for and if we ever get to the areas again, we will definitely be back.
