Went to Jim Dandy for Easter Brunch. Palate Street food was underwhelming, which is strange because it's usually very good. Had the poutine, which was cold and soggy. :(

One of my favorite local brunch spots! Great main dishes, very reasonable prices! Love the main dishes, the supportive sides like breakfast potatoes could use a little more love and thought - but still good! Great food, great prices, great atmosphere. Would highly recommend!!

Had a lovely time on a double date while visiting from out of state. Lovely and prompt service, nice variety of food, and I my salmon to be perfectly cooked. What a lovely experience!

good food and reasonable pricing. I've only been to the truck at Jim Dandy's, and the service there has been good.

I was pretty excited to try their menu. Went in and got completely ignored for 5-10 minutes other than a few waters dropped off when we initially sat down. Several employees passed by our table (located in the middle of the small restaurant) multiple times. They weren't overly busy. In fact, the server that seated us was talking at the bar while we waited for service. Eventually, we got up and left. I've served for a decade. I know how it works and expect a profuse apology when I've been overlooked for no reason. None was offered up. This is basic stuff.

Immediately I was disappointed that the first thing I smelled walking in the place was the bathroom. We decided to ignore that and went to be seated; we left after being informed that the manager would not allow us inside or on the patio with my mother’s service dog. I was excited to try this place, but we will not go back knowing that the manager is willing to not only discriminate a disabled customer but also violate the Americans with Disabilities Act.

I have been here twice. The first time, we ordered brisket fries as an appetizer, and they were SO good!! Then we had entrees and finished with beignets. Yum! The second time, I decided to skip the entree and just get the brisket fries and beignets. The beignets were just as good as the first time, and this time they were cut like ghosts! They were delicious and adorable. Sadly, the brisket fries were so disappointing this time. There was a definite "freezer burnt" taste to them. I am not sure if it was coming from the fries or the brisket, but it was not good.

Palate street Bistro! Yummy food! Amazing service! Is it weird I wanted to hug our server and I am not a hugger! Yep best service ever! Unlike the bbq place before it. I'm From so cal to jax Fla and my ancestors from Texass! I can say Texass cuz it's funny and it's where the old Tray homestead is. The Shawn's bbq place in Poky had the worst service, Food and sauce! Got the brisket and had to ask for bread. No Texas toast! Um yep I'm a fat girl! But the fat old man flirting with his young staff was disgusting! The only reason why I am mentioning the bbq place is because I do not want him to be in a position of power ever in Poky! Grateful This location is a beautiful remodel of the old A&W and Big Judds! Move along Shawn's bbq! Maybe you should visit a Woody's bbq in the south!

Favorite burger in town. Fabulously fresh ingredients and beyond tasty! Limited hours. We've only picked up FYI. Would love to see owners take conceit and run with it/take less worthy competitors out. Add menu items. Highly, highly recommended.

A bit below average on quality. Service was extremely slow, and in fact after 20 minutes, I assume it was a floor supervisor or assistant manager(?) came by and asked if our server had been by & of course she had not. 2 sandwiches and drinks cost over $50, which it seems high, but I would have gladly paid, & skipped out of the restaurant whistling a tune if the other 2 items had been appropriately addressed. This was at the brick & mortar location off of Oak Street. Tom Wilson

Have had 30+ meals with Palate and it never ceases to amaze me! Tonight I came to the restaurant and ordered steak, easily the best sirloin I have had in Pocatello and I have lived here for 40 years. Service is impeccable, atmosphere is on-point and food continues to please. Great job, Palate!
