Perkins Restaurant & Bakery

This Perkins location closed 2 years ago. If your from out of town wanting to go here it’s some Mexican restaurant instead. Still don’t understand why the billboard on the interstate is still up.

Not Perkins standard. Pot roast dinner was swimming in grease. Potatoes were not warm. Peas and carrots in the pot roast were rubbery/chewy. Bleu cheese dressing was a bit off. Husband's meatloaf was not warmed through along with the potatoes. The manager did make it right by offering a new meal which we didn't want. So he comped the entire visit. (He saw the problem immediately) Our waitress was good, attentive. However we will not return.

Good food. Sad day since this is the last day open. Good times and really good food here. Last time I’ll have the big country skillet ? happy retirement Stan!

Perkins was a family favorite for me and my family. So after we escaped the madness of the fifty fans blowing in our home. We moved to a nearby hotel and ordered delivery. This went terribly wrong. I was called a liar about buying a pie and door dash was called a thief. No apology apology when I got dressed and went there to show them the receipt showing that I did purchase the pie. I’ve posted pictures underneath in captions I’ve told the story about what happened in my case. I miss the old Perkins. Did the owners sell? They lived up near me. On the same street just a couple of houses in between and they were the first neighbors to welcome us to the neighborhood, and they brought us a treat from Perkins. Oh, the good oldies. I miss you.

We did not have a good experience at this Perkins. It was just 2 of us and we got seated pretty quickly (within 5 min). Our waitress came within 10 min to take our order at which point it had been long enough to know what we wanted to drink and eat, so we did both at the same time. At this point a group of 17 were seated. We got our drinks and then... we did not see our waitress again for 40 min. In the meantime we watched as the group of 17 got all their food (they were seated a good 10-15 min after we were). Our food yet to come. Then another group of 4 that were seated a good 20 minutes after us got their food. When the waitress did finally walk by our table to deliver food to another table, she let us know that ours would be up soon....Since they had already wasted over an hour of our time, we decided to just leave and not give this place our money. I'm sure under different circumstances (no group of 17, different waitress, etc.) maybe this place would good, but not for us.

Nothing fancy, but not needed. A good priced meal that was very satisfying, and needed after a long drive. Have had luck at Perkins most everywhere we have traveled.

Was good? waitress was great! They were very short handed. One waitress working. So be prepared to wait a few mins. I went in the eve.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. Absolutely the worst restaurant in town. Go any place but here. Service is a joke porting size for the price is an even bigger joke.

The staff was fun and friendly. The food was fabulous. Also Free pie Monday.

Service and food were amazing

Excellent service. The waitress was wonderful and attentive. The manager even went around to visit with the regulars and see if everyone was doing well. The portion was good. I ordered the lunch duo of 1/2 BLT and the tomato basil soup. The soup was fantastic. Great flavor as well as texture. Lunch was under $10.

Perkins has always had a pleasant family friendly atmosphere. We have dined and celebrated there through the years with many family and friends. It has always been a positive experience. Perkins is one of our favorite restaurants to eat at in Pocatello because it is a nice quiet place that one can have good conversation, good food and receive friendly service. Thank you for all you have added to the Pocatello community over the years! ???

Any adult who has lived in the western US knows about Perkins. Classic family diner. I was particularly impressed with the food at this one, everything was cooked very nicely I got the salmon with Cajun seasoning and it was delicious and cooked perfectly. We also had a great waiter that was so sweet with our kids. Go here for some yummy diner food, and the family friendly atmosphere.

Perkins was in walking distance of our hotel as was Applebees, but after looking online at the menus of each we opted for Perkins. Both of our meals were very good, service was exceptionally fast and the pie delicious.

First time at a Perkin's, and it was a great experience! We had a wonderful waitress, and we were able to meet with one of the managers white we ate, very nice guy.We had a group of 12 (6 kids) and they were very accommodating. You can tell they like having big families there. They even put us in our own room (probably so we wouldn't bother anyone ?).I had the biscuits and gravy meal, which comes with sausage patties, bacon, two eggs, and breakfast potatoes. It was a very good dinner style meal. I would recommend getting an extra side of gravy. I also tried a couple of fried pickles and they were really good also.All in all, great family diner to visit.
