Food is great. Prices for quality matches. The steaks are top notch. The mixed drinks tend to be weak pours, I wouldn't recommend. Ilmy last visit the waitress was slow. Didn't seam to care and spent time talking to her regulars. After we were done it took 30 min to get her to give us the bill. Then after she had our debit cards spent 15 min chatting with other dinners...not serving chatting before coming back.

Horrible experience. I/we usually never complain about a restaurant but we have dined at the Sandpiper several times and have recommended it to others and our dinner was not the norm. Our food was not prepared as ordered. . We had ordered prime rib medium. and it literally came to us as rare/raw. The appetizer of brussels sprout were hard as rock. We sent them back, they came back same condition. The lobster bisque soup was cold. It was supposed to be hot. The fish my granddaughter ordered smelled rotten, so we didn’t have her eat it. The server who was having problems too(forgetting items)tried her best to have the food cooked properly but that didn’t happen. I figured must be a new chef who was just learning the business but I think he needs a different career.

This has been my favorite restaurant for years, but the food has really gone down hill. Shrimp was rotten, no firecracker sauce for dry artichoke, Ceasar salad very fishy, clam chowder didnt have much flavor, used to be very flavorful. I was so looking forward to a wonderful meal.😕Where is Alden? He was the best.

Great place for a delicious dinner. Especially if you're gluten intolerant. Lots of gluten free options. Employees are great.

Took way too long to get our food and by the time we did it was at best lukewarm, like it had been sitting under a hot plate for a long time, slightly dried out. If I'm going to spend $40 for a steak it better be good.

Service was attentive with but only offering to fill our drinks once in the two and a half hours we were there for some reason

Atmosphere is all right, but the acoustics in the place leave every table in the shouting match to hear across the table

I used to be consistently impressed by this place, but it seems it no longer has the magic.

The staff here has always been amazing—they consistently give 100%, and that’s the only reason we’ve continued to come back. They truly are the heart of this place. But it’s so disappointing, and honestly a little heartbreaking, to see Piper, once such an iconic restaurant, decline so quickly. It just isn’t the same anymore. The food feels average at best, the quality and consistency aren’t what they used to be, and the rising prices make it hard to justify.

What’s especially sad is remembering what it used to be—a place you could always count on for a great meal, a special night out, and an atmosphere that felt alive. Now it feels like it’s lost its spark, and with it, a little piece of the community. I truly hope someone recognizes what’s slipping away and brings Piper back to the standard that made it so loved in the first place.

I'm spoiled by their Cosmos. We love the Sandpiper. Just recently ate there and had the best service and best steak oscar.

Shanese was our waitress and was absolutely top notch! She was very attentive, friendly, honest and just all around a joy to have been served by.

My lobster tail didn't taste fresh, and the butter tasted more like greasy margarine rather than drawn butter. My grilled asparagus was tough. It wasn't worth the $60 plus, that I was charged.

Starting to look a little old. A little rundown. The food was subpar, the service was fine. The patio door had been left open so there were flies everywhere. Doesn’t make you want to spend this much money again there.
