Since they moved prices went up and quality went down. Way down. Dirty bathrooms the last two times I have been there. Poop smeared on toilet stall wall, it had been there awhile too. Bathroom stalls don't lock. They also charge you 3.5% for the privilege of paying your bill with a debit card, and they don't tell you before hand.Dirty. Un-keeped up. Slow service.

Heads up, there is no liquor. Not that big of a deal but I was craving a margarita with my food and feel like I wasted money on a rare evening out because there wasn't any information about this on their website. The two go hand in hand but that could just be me. My husband likes this place but he's only had one thing, has plain tastes, and loves salt. The fact he didn't have to add salt to his food should tell you something so if that's your taste, enjoy. Personally, I felt the beans were better suited to a bbq meal and the sauces weren't very authentic. The rice and salsa were good but the latter was too hot for my five year old. I took several bites of my meal but couldn't finish it because the salty flavor of the chicken turned my stomach. My daughter didn't eat her hamburger because it had "squishy bread" instead of a bun. The server behind us warned their table about it but we didn't hear that until after we ordered from the older dark haired lady who worked today. We received 10% off our ticket for two meals that weren't remotely eaten (I'm 75% sure we received an eye roll when our dishes were collected but it could've been a timing error). The service wasn't very efficient or intuitive but we did receive everything after we expressly asked for it. I'm not a Karen but I value helpful service (and provide it elsewhere). I also don't like to waste money so I wish I would've read a review like this before choosing this place. Also, for those with children, there are no coloring sheets or small sized kid's cups. My daughter didn't even get her own menu so we had to share mine. Not a horrible experience but not one for those who are passionate about Mexican food or have children.

Puerto Vallarta is where Perkins used to be. I was in Pocatello for the weekend and decided to try it. I ordered the spicy chicken with rice and a bean soup. My wife ordered a burger and fries. The menu said the chicken was spice level 2. I took one bite and was surprised how spicy it was. I wasn't prepared for how hot it was, but it was still manageable. I was able to finish the meal. I'd just warn those with a low spice tolerance to maybe get something on the mild end.My wife's burger was on toast rather than a bun, but she said it was tender and the bread was not soggy. The horchata tasted watered down so it was kind of disappointing.Servers all speak Spaninsh here.

The wife of the cook/owner is loud, rude, and shouldn't be allowed to wait on customers if they want repeat business! Don't go there! Aside from that, the burrito was dry, if you ask for something make sure you also find out if there is a charge because they won't tell you and just add it to your bill, and they will charge you more if you don't pay cash for your bill - they also don't tell you that until you are ready to leave. Overall I would just say avoid this place all together!

I enjoy the food here. Especially for the veggie fajitas. If you're a vegetarian, they make a delicious plate. I wish they had Jarritos mineral water. They do have Mexican Sodas. Table side fresh quac
Amazing food and service! My husband and I really enjoyed our date night!
