Was able to get in after they opened. It was busy. All tables full good thing I was getting it to go. Staff was super friendly and great. Got my food and the food was great. Great size portions. The BBQ sauces were amazing

One of the few BBQ places around. Brisket was very good! They have draft beer only and not a full bar. Prices were VERY reasonable. Also a nice outdoor seating place with many heaters for when it gets cooler. Our server was very helpful and friendly. We will eat here again!

Great barbecue came all the way from California just to try, not disappointed, staff are are great, it's worth going out of your way if you like good barbecue.

Went to this place right after they opened. Plainest, most bland bbq I think I've ever had. Really disappointing, since it's pretty close to home. We should have known what we were in for when the "sweet tea" wasn't even sweet. Seriously, I know people around here think ketchup is too spicy, but this place was so bland, I thought I had covid again. Grew up near Memphis, so I know what bbq should taste like, this was not it. Maybe they have improved since they opened, actually got a smoker and some seasoning? Got some sauces that taste like something? (Seriously, "Alabama white" sauce, if that's even a thing, was just mayo) Not willing to spend the money to find out. Service was okay, for a place that just opened. It's too bad, really had hope for this place, since Poky is desperately lacking good food.

There are a lot of great bbq restaurants in this world. This is not one of them. I'll start with the positives, the service was fine. On to the cons. The food was terrible. It was definitely pre-made. It came out way too fast. It was bland, and there was no seasoning at all. I think they knew this since they gave us salt and pepper. I ordered the brisket cheesesteak and the loaded mac and cheese. The brisket on the Mac was dry, and the brisket on the cheesesteak was cold. Overall I'm not only unimpressed but highly disappointed in the overall experience. Please do better.

Food was delicious. They have a solid selection of sauces and each was great. Brisket was juicy and perfectly cooked. The pulled pork was delicious with the house BBQ sauce. Not only were the meats amazing, the sides were equally great. Onion rings were perfect. Hawaiian beans were really different, but in a good way. They were short staffed on the night we were there and we still had great service.

We tried Shawn’s and really liked it! We had ribs, brisket, and pulled pork. The sides and meat were great! Samantha was a fantastic waitress, as well. Great variety of sauces that come in a toolbox with a paper towel holder- so cool! We loved the outdoor patio and gazebo area. My only complaint was the pulled pork. It was not moist at all and reminded me of canned shredded jerky. Other than that, highly recommend! We will definitely be back to try the other meats.

I’m not a BBQ lover so this was a stretch for me. I had the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich with macaroni salad. It was delicious. Our waitress was awesome.I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Ok this place is a special treat! Honestly one of the best up and coming restaurants in Polky!We got the chance to meet Shawn! Not only is he a genuinely good guy but he is a veteran of the armed forces and PHENOMENAL cook! All his recipes are home made they don’t use pre-made mixes. You’re getting custom made BBQ the way it should be.You’ll surprise yourself with their huckleberry BBQ and white sauce! Try it with their black and blue sausages. I’m not even a fan of sausages and I could t stop craving them!!!!Their sides are amazing! You’ve got to try the slaw! Once again I’m not even a slaw guy and couldn’t get enough of it! Truly some good the best ribs I’ve ever had too!These guys are a treat, if you’ve got the time or are just passing by stop in you won’t regret it!

Just had a great dinner with my bride. Had the ribs and brisket, couldn't be better. Our server was sweet and took a lot of time welcoming us and explaining everything on the menu. Highly recommend.

Tried it out to support local. I ordered the cheesesteak sandwich it was a little to dry for my liking. The onion rings were good tho. The building itself is pretty however the table area and floors could have used a good sweep / clean

Went for Mothers Day Brunch. SSF isn’t usually open on Sundays but they were open for the holiday. Was so satisfied with the food and environment! Such a friendly server and thought it was cool that he supports other local businesses with having their cookies and popcorn as options to get you started. Really looking forward to supporting this business.
