the food is generally really good (though i dont think its worth the price they charge) however the staff is very rushed and dont give time for the customer to decide what they want when they get in there even if there are no other people waiting

Best sandwiches, bar none. Selection of different items is varied and the choices of different spuds for sides is great.

Really skimpy on the meat. Ordered tuna, asked if it was white tuna. The girl said yes but it's really light tuna. Disappointed in the quality. Won't go here again.

Food was good. They have no problem making sandwiches as you want. While interacting with me and several others that came in..Did not see 1 smile from the two staff that were working there. Sometimes that goes a long way towards the atmosphere.

I came to The Works on Chubbuck after practice around 8:30 PM with my two boys because they were hungry. It was my first time there, and I was not familiar with the menu. We were treated like an annoyance the second we walked in; there was no greeting—just straight to the point from the black-haired server. “What do you want?” I looked at the menu, and there is a lot going on; I couldn’t make out what I needed but knew they’d have what I was looking for. I said my boys would both like a turkey sandwich. The server replied, “What size?” I asked, “What sizes do you have?” and she replied snootily, “The sizes are on the menu.” It was hard to see because the screens are angled, but I was able to make out the sizes and said, “8 inches on white.”

Then I asked, “What comes with a meal?” She replied, annoyed, “You mean combos?” I said yes, a combo, and she said drinks and fries. I asked my boys what fries they wanted, and they said tater tots and cottage fries because there was a flyer on the plastic cover. She then replied, “If you call them by their names, it would help us out.” I had a confused look on my face, and the other server, who I could tell was kind, said, “Tots and cots.” I said okay, “Tots and cots, is that what they're called?” The mean server replied, “You’d know if you read the board.”

I walked over to the board and still couldn’t find it. I said, “I still don’t see them, but ‘tots and cots’ it is.” She then said, “It’s there,” and I replied, “Well, this board is hard to read and angled.” Then she said, “Well, walk in front of it.” This is when I had enough. I told her if my boys weren’t getting sandwiches, I would have walked out because of how disrespectful she was, and she dares to reply, “Then leave, we are closing soon.” She grabbed both sandwiches and smashed them slightly. I asked how I could get a hold of the owner, and she says, “I don’t have to tell you,” and when I asked for her name to leave a review, she snapped, “Don’t have to tell you.” She was always recording and trying her hardest to make herself look good in my frustrated state.

I’ll never go there again!!! She made me sick to my stomach, but the Pocatello location was kind and built my order, so I drove over to that location, paid for my food, and left my info. But the owner never reached out the following day like I asked…

Incredibly charming hole in the wall deli, with the best egg salad sandwich I've ever had! They make it all right there in front of you, didn't even use a premade egg salad mix 😁 Fried mushrooms were killer too, and it's all cheaper than subway!

The food is amazing! I love that they chop the bacon for a BLT since it makes it easier to eat. They also slice the cheese as ordered so it doesn't sit out. Overall, just an amazing place to eat

I am very annoyed with how bad the service was, considering the food was so good. If it were both bad service and bad food, I could just shrug it off and not be left wanting.

I walked in for my takeout order and the girl at the counter pretty well ignored me.. she barely said two words to me, snatched the bag up and handed it to me and locked in the most awkward service transaction I've had in a hot minute. Gyro was excellent.

ordered a sandwich and it got to my house with no meat on the sandwich. my fries were soggy and had no flavor at all. i used to love the works i hope they are not going downhill because this was a disappointing experience:( they also did not give me my full refund for the sandwich not having meat on it or the soggy fries.

If you need a yummy giant sandwich this is the place. We ordered a six foot sub and two 2-foot subs to feed 35 hungry men. The sandwich makers (sorry, didn’t get their names) were great at taking our orders in advance and having it all ready to go when we picked it up, exactly at their opening time, so we appreciate that they came in early to have it ready for us. They included all the requested sides and condiments in easy serve containers too. We’ll use them each time we feed this group!

Food is just as good as I remember from 20 years ago when I visited Pocatello regularly. Thank you.
