Up North Distillery is a cool little spot that offers a unique drinking experience. The place can get pretty full, and there may be a short wait for drinks, but the bartender is friendly and the drinks are well-balanced and tasty. While it's not a craft cocktail bar, the drinks come close. Visitors can also purchase bottles of the distillery's single malt whiskey, which is described as smooth, easy-drinking, and exceptionally better than traditional whiskies. The distillery also offers excellent mead-based liquors and great cocktails in a quiet, enjoyable atmosphere, with helpful staff providing informative descriptions of the distilling process.
