Best BBQ place in Post Falls. Only disappointment is that I've only know about it for 6 months.

I went there to get a roast of tri tip for my husband and his friends working on pouring our driveway. This tri tip was a BIG HIT! Thank you so much! It was great indeed. We will be back again.

I highly recommend the Hot Mess! The sauce was slightly sweet, and smoky. The meat was tender and delicious! The man working (I believe it was the owner's dad) was very pleasant and conversational. Next time I'm in the area, I'll be back for another!

Mac n cheese and beans were great but the ribs, brisket and pulled pork... a whole different story. The ribs were tough flavorless, the brisket is like chewing on a piece of rubber and taste like it was boiled not smoked and the pulled pork tasted old. We paid $50 for our dinner and still had to find something else to eat because this was just inedible. Will not go back or recommend to anyone. Portion sizes are great but not worth anything if it's not able to be eaten.

Zach catered our Office Picnic. Everyone loved the food and the flavor! The meat was smoked perfectly. I would recommend Zach's Smoke Shack to anyone looking for amazing BBQ.

incredible food for an amazing price! the sauce is easily the best bbq sauce I have had. phenomenal customer service and you can tell Zach is very passionate about what he does. definitely worth checking out!

Zach’s smoke shack was a hit for my whole family! We got the 3 meats on a platter with the slaw and beans. Wow! The housemade sauce was out of this world. Perfect combo of sweet and savory with a little kick! Thank you!! We’ll be back and we’ll be sending anyone who wants some good food your way!! The customer service was awesome as well!

My daughter lives off cheeseburgers. We are regulars at the post falls Pavillion. One day we were curious and ordered one from the fixx smash burger and one of zachs. She devoured zachs burger. I definitely thought it tasted of a higher quality meat and was cooked perfectly. He was very busy preparing for a wedding, yet still made time to quickly pop out a great burger. This is her new favorite spot.

Im very picky when it comes to baked beans and homemade BBQ sauce but damn, I could devour some of those baked beans. The BBQ sauce was alittle spicy but such good flavor. He was getting ready for a wedding but was still ready to help! Great place will come again!
