This was my first time eating here. The quality of the food was great. I live in the area so I can't speak on the room quality or location. My wife and I are looking forward to eating there again.

We didn't stay at the hotel. But the restaurant is one of our favorites in Rupert. The fried pickles are delicious, we've never had a bad meal great service.

Food was delicious and didn't take forever. Staff was great and took good care of us. Nice little restaurant on the Rupert square but a little pricey.

We come to The Drift almost every weekend for the clam chowder andSavana's service. She is always friendly, patient, personal, on top of it and smiling under pressure. Even when she is not our server she always takes care of us if we need something. She is truly the restaurant's best asset and the reason we keep coming. The other menu items are hit or miss and seem pricey for what you get (frozen veggies, instant potatoes). I also wish the restaurant would clean their water lines, open the dining room a little earlier, and decide if they want to put silverware out before guests arrive or when they're seated because 9 times out of 10 we have to ask for silverware and it goes unnoticed by other servers. Atmosphere is nice. Overall we enjoy coming here, best place we've found in Rupert, but could improve in a couple areas.

The Drift inn has been a great restaurant for a long time, but sadly to say, the place is going downhill. Most of the old Menu is gone, the seafood isn't as good, and it seems they care a little less about the customer. I'd love to see a positive change at The Drift inn.
We love historic buildings, especially hotels. This one was awesome, super clean, and we slept really well. We will go out of our way to stay here again.
