About Drift Inn

Drift Inn is a restaurant located in a historic building in Rupert, offering a home-town feel and a nice atmosphere. It is a popular spot for many, known for its delicious fried pickles and tasty clam chowder. The service is generally excellent, with attentive staff that create a friendly environment.

The menu features simple food, with some items like the prime rib being particularly praised for their tenderness and flavor. The mashed potatoes are whipped till fluffy and light, adding to the overall quality of the dining experience. However, some menu items can be hit or miss and may seem pricey for what is offered. There have been comments about frozen vegetables and instant potatoes, as well as issues with water lines and timing of silverware availability.

Despite these minor concerns, Drift Inn is considered one of the best places in Rupert, with a cozy and enjoyable atmosphere. Regular customers look forward to returning and enjoying the delicious food and great service. The restaurant is part of a boutique hotel, providing comfortable accommodations with lots of amenities. Visitors appreciate the clean and lovingly furnished rooms, making it a great choice for those looking for good food and a drink or two while in Rupert.

Fun atmosphere! Great for holiday parties, birthdays, reunions, weddings, baby showers, bridal showers! Nice clean rooms upstairs.
This fabulous old building is wonderful. The rooms are fantastic. There were two of us staying and it had more room and extras than any other place we stayed at and we traveled 4250 miles. The food in the restaurant was great.
We were pleasantly surprised to find such warm and friendly people in this town. We ate in the bar area and everyone was willing to share knowledge of the area. The bartender, Ronny, was especially great. We had such a wonderful time. Can’t say enough...read full review
