Seems like they are always short staffed, long waits for your order. Food is great though. We really enjoy the breakfast.

We had the worst service ever. 1 and 1/2 waitresses. Full packed restaurant. 1 hr + to get food and didn't get our toast or cinnamon roll. Food not cooked correctly.Place was freezing. Never came back for refills or anything. I was so mad I made my husband deal with check. Oh ya she did take the cinnamon roll of the ticket....gee thanks

Normally I go on week days, but Saturday May 3rd we went and it took an hour to get breakfast. I should have just made biscuits and gravy at home. It would have been faster.

Great place for breakfast

I ordered over-easy eggs, and I received medium cooked. The gravy on the chicken fried steak was a bit bland. The service and overall atmosphere were excellent.

The Chatterbox is a great coffee shop diner. They have a great menu and friendly wait staff. Local ownership keeps the customers coming back.

Whether a hearty breakfast, filling lunch, or a homey dinner, you'll surely go away well fed.

I ate here with my husband when it first opened and a few times after that. I suggested this place as a girl's day lunch. I was embarrassed at the end for suggesting this place.
The girls weren't attentive, no one greeted us, we had to go up to them to ask for things. The food took too long for a diner to make. The food was not great. I had a chef salad. It was missing ingredients that they said came with it. I asked for ranch. They gave me blue cheese. I thought it was rancid ranch or something. The tator tots were too crispy. I ordered a scone to go, I think they forgot about it. I was paying and had to remind them for the scone. When I ate the scone, it was dense and maybe not cooked all the way. The edges were rock hard. Nothing too horrible, but all these things added up.

Slow slow slow. Almost an hour wait for chicken strips and a burrito. Order was inaccurate when it came. I'd have ordered a drink if anyone had checked back on me while waiting so long.

This restaurant is pretty good depending on what you get. They have good waffle fries and fry sauce so that is a plus. The issue I have had was with the quality of the main dish meats I have ordered. I have ate hear twice. The first time I ordered a hamburger and it was a bit overcooked and just alright I would say. The second time I ordered a chicken sandwich. The sandwich was on a simple store bought bun (like a cheap Walmart or generic brand bun) and I was served a frozen chicken burger that was fried up. It also came with bacon and cheese and was good, but I guess I was expecting something a bit fancier. The upside was that the price was pretty good and not too steap. In general my oppinion of this place is that it is a good place to eat, but don’t expect super high quality ingredients. They do have good cookies. Would I be at here again? Yes and if I find something on the menu that amazes me I will change my rating, but for now I would just rate this place 3* for average food and service based on my visits.

Parking: Plenty of parking on the Rupert square unless a big event is going on.

Kid-friendliness: Kids are more than welcome here as it’s a pretty chill place.

Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible via wheelchair as there are no stairs in and out. Restroom is not wheelchair accessible.
