“This is overdue, but I wanted to give them a recent review. We took the boat out mid August, ended up staying on the lake longer than expected so we decided to stop by and grab a quick bite. We had the flat bread pizza which was OK, but they had meat smoking in the smoker and that looked and smelled amazing.. They were waiting on their liquor permit so no adult beverages for sale yet. The patio and deck are awesome to check out lake views, hope to come back next season and give them another try.”

“Captain's Table has been around for years and is always a good time when you stop by. This Lake Pend Oreille staple serves elevated bar food with quality ingredients. Highly recommend a cheese burger, a patty melt or the taco salad. The salad dressings are homemade along with the chips for the taco salad. You can standard bar drinks and beer on tap. The owner, Mary, is a firecracker and provides excellent service, even when understaffed. Besides grabbing a bite of food or a drink, come in to play a round of pool and your favorite song on the jukebox.”

“Stopped by for a coffee on our way out of town and this place is great! The stand was conveniently right off the highway, delicious coffee at an extremely affordable price. I got a venti iced coffee that cost under $4. Felt like the early 2000s. The staff was very kind and helpful, they even had me try my coffee to make sure I was happy with it before I left. I wish I lived here so this could be my regular spot!”

“I love City Beach Organics. It is the best place in Sandpoint for a healthy meal. I love how they make vegan and vegetarian meals so tasty! I’m obsessed with the garlic curry walnuts. My favorites- vegan curry melt, vegan Italian melt, Schweitzer sunset juice and the green grazer. I also enjoy the coffee here! It’s easy to call ahead and order for pick up or enjoy the dining room and look out at the mountains. Service is helpful and nice. I feel like everyone is very easy going and really appreciates your business.”

“What a wonderful place to shop when you are looking for bulk ingredients. Lots of organic and all natural foods. They even have a cozy seating area if you would like to eat there. My daughter loved their cinnamon rolls. They also have wonderful pies made from scratch and ready to bake.”

Their flour provider is top-tier and you can taste the difference in their pastries and bread. You can tell the owner put a lot of thought and care into their products. Also received unexpected incredible latte art on my latte! Such a nice surprise. Very lively coffee shop/bakery energized by kind, friendly workers. Theres also a ton of natural light and plenty of seating.”

“La Catrina catered a graduation event with 100 plus people over Labor Day weekend. The food was 10/10! The promptness was 10/10. Their appreciation and communication 10/10. My 19 year old daughter picked this caterer for our event based on the food quality. All of my guests were so impressed. La Catrina was incredibly fast, clean, efficient and friendly. I could not be more happy with their catering care of my beach party. I wished they could have stayed and danced with us. They were such a hardworking family! The price they charged was so affordable. Thank you La Catrina for doing such an amazing job with my beach party! Your food, service, and presentation was perfect!”

“Pour Aithority is a unique place in town. It offers a good variety of rotating draft beer and over a hundred selections of canned or bottled beer to try. There's not much food to speak of, so I can't give a good assessment on that aspect.”

They were extremely accommodating for me as a vegetarian, substitutions for beans was no problem. The bean dip they serve with chips is divine, I could drink that stuff! Portion sizes were perfect, definitely on the large side. (I couldn't finish mine). Prices are quite reasonable too. Seven of us ate for about $130 including tip. My only regret is that I didn't have room left for churros and fried ice cream.Vegetarian options: I had no issue swapping out meat for beans in my burrito.Kid-friendliness: My kids loved their food and keep asking to go back!”

“As good as it gets when it comes to breweries! We're in town for a ski trip and decided to stop by Laughing Dog - highly recommend if you are anywhere in the Sandpoint area. Beers are great, and the food is truly scrumptious. We got Korean sliders & seafood mac (both incredible). Also love the dog-friendly atmosphere. Service was friendly and attentive. Hope to come back while we're in town!”
