Casa De Oro | Mexican Family Restaurant is a little Mexican food place that is awesome. The staff is kind, efficient, and always on it, providing great service. Even on busy nights, prompt service can be a little harder, but it is understandable. The food is delish and amazing. The salsa was fantastic with a perfect heat level. The shrimp fajitas were good, with shrimp perfectly cooked and sautéed veggies crisp. The beans and rice were good too. The chicken mole was not what some were used to, but not bad. The best Birria tacos in Idaho are made here. The food is not very authentic Mexican cuisine, a little bland, but tasty. A bit too much butter was used. The atmosphere is very nice, on a golf course. The restaurant was packed for the reopening, but guests were seated right away. The food was served in a timely manner, drinks never ran out, and the place was clean from top to bottom. There is a good alcohol selection.
