I wasn't going to write a review, because businesses sometimes have off days or are short staffed or even training new staff. I understand bad days. But then when I left, I decided to read the reviews and saw that our first interaction with the business has been an issue before. It was an unwelcoming environment from the start.

This was our experience:

First off, when we walked in, no one acknowledged us. No smile, no hi, no welcome in and I'll be with you in a minute or I can help you over here. Nothing. We were completely ignored while the two employees/owners talked to each other. I walked in front of a side register area assuming this is where we will be helped and even then waited a minute before the owner even looked at me and asked what we needed. This is a similar review written a few months ago, this shouldn't still be a problem.

Then, She seemed annoyed with us immediately after talking to us from the beginning. Like maybe they aren't open for bowling to the public? It just felt like we shouldn't have been there at that point and we were interupting their day, but we were determined to make fun memories with the kids so we stayed. It was hard to hear her and she couldn't hear us well, and there was no sign with bowling info or prices. I've never bowled before, didn't know what to expect or what to ask for. Maybe they have a website, but we don't know since we are not from the area and saw the bowling alley sign from the main road.

While we were bowling: The owners had left their very young 3 or 4 year old barefoot child unattended. Their child gave one of my older kids a small toy ball and he went on to try to play with heavy bowling balls. My small toddler was able to pull a ball off the rack while I was helping him, so this child very easily could have as well. I asked my older child to leave the little boy alone and I will return the small toy ball. When I turned around to return toy, to my surprise there's no one but one elpoyee cooking head down breathing through smoke and NOT paying attention to this barefoot child. I'm not there to babysit, I'm paying to bowl, and she gave the impression not to interact with this child. It looked like he knew not to do what he was doing because, like all toddler/pre k age kids, he kept looking back to see if anyone was watching and going to test his independence and tell him no. He could have gotten hurt, it takes seconds. Or worse. We are strangers here, and they just left this little boy in the bowling area unattended next to us. Don't trust strangers. A few minutes later mom shows back into the main room, and I returned the toy. We had time to go through 6 of us bowling and moving the ball slide around before she came back through the door and into the room. There was a man working here too, he was also not in the room during this time.

Our bowling experience was overall fun spending time together as a family. The kids had fun, so I'm happy with that. After the third frame the man working there came and told us about a bowling ball slide thing for kids, which again would have been nice to know was an option because I've never been bowling before so I didn't know to ask if it was an option. They do have lane bumper things also for kids, and she did mention this upfront. I think the price seemed fair. Lane floor seemed uneven, but that's fine if it's only used for recreation and not competition since people don't take care of things that are not theirs anyway.

Maybe going in to eat is a better experience. Give their food a try!

I don't know how this place produced such delicious food with such a small staff but they killed it. I recommend their sweet potato fries! We walked in with a big 10U hockey group and they catered to us well. We will be coming back during our next tournament!

Had a wonderful hometown time! The food is fantastic! You can just come and eat a great meal weather you bowl or not! Staff where great! Thank you for a fun afternoon!

We love everything we have ordered. Everyone is always friendly.

Tried to go in to bowl, front desk completely ignored us, we asked for a lane she walked off and didn’t answer. Couldn’t order food as dinner wasn’t served for another half hour. Left and visited another local establishment. I’d say the customer service here is lacking, and needs to be worked on. At least acknowledge you have customers in your place or business.
