Mama’s breakfast pot pie and a Denver omelette with potatoes & biscuit. Delicious. It took a while for our food but the place was full for Mother’s Day so that was to be expected.

Breakfast was tasty and reasonably priced. We almost left after not being acknowledged for over 5 minutes after walking in (it wasn’t busy and we could see the staff casually chatting in the back), but the service was fine after that. We were glad we stayed for the good homestyle food.

Wally’s Cafe does not disappoint! Comfort food extraordinaire❤️. We had Mama’s Breakfast Pot Pie, Avocado Toast Supreme and the Wally Cristo. Wonderful cafe in downtown Salmon with friendly service from Becky!

We stopped in Wally's for breakfast on Sunday the 14th (2025) after the Salmon Select Show. Our server and floor staff were fantastic (the lady with the tattoos)!! The food was really good, once it finally arrived. The time it took to get our food was very, very slow - a little over an hour. And there were only a couple of tables of two and three people in front of us. As we sat the place filled up with people, but nothing was coming out of the kitchen. Here's my question for Wally's. If you know there is going to be a large crowd after an event like Salmon Select, why don't you prepare for the expected patrons? I realize this is a small cafe, but maybe you should look at being a little better prepared. It's not like the Salmon Select show is something new...

A good place to eat but, when busy plan on relaxing and enjoying your time. Sundays might be different but with one cook it did take a long time to receive our food. She definitely looked like she needed to delegate and have another cook help. The service was good and so way the food.

So thankful for this crew. They made me GF French toast with berries. Not normally on the menu and they made the accommodation. Couldn’t ask for more kind and considerate folks than here. Thank you for making food I can have ?☺️
Fantastic food. Must try Mama's pot pie... It is insanely delicious and could feed two. Service was awesome... I love a place that pours you coffee without even asking if you want it... We will be back again and again... Thank you so much
