We stopped in Wally's for breakfast on Sunday the 14th (2025) after the Salmon Select Show. Our server and floor staff were fantastic (the lady with the tattoos)!! The food was really good, once it finally arrived. The time it took to get our food was very, very slow - a little over an hour. And there were only a couple of tables of two and three people in front of us. As we sat the place filled up with people, but nothing was coming out of the kitchen. Here's my question for Wally's. If you know there is going to be a large crowd after an event like Salmon Select, why don't you prepare for the expected patrons? I realize this is a small cafe, but maybe you should look at being a little better prepared. It's not like the Salmon Select show is something new...

So thankful for this crew. They made me GF French toast with berries. Not normally on the menu and they made the accommodation. Couldn’t ask for more kind and considerate folks than here. Thank you for making food I can have ?☺️

Wally's is a nice little local café like I grew up with. Great food! Momma's breakfast pot pie is phenomenal! You have to wait a bit in order for the crust to get golden crisp, but it's worth it. I highly recommend Wally's for the next time you're in Salmon, Idaho.

Phenomenal. Good ol fashioned small town cafe. Have not been able to find a meal even close to the one I had there. Hope to visit again sometime soon.

Wally's Cafe had the best chicken fried steak I ever had in my life. It was the size of a toilet seat and had the best flavor. It was well worth the wait for cooked to order food. The staff was friendly and the place was clean. Free refills on coffee and the tap water was some of the best I've had in these United States. The cost of the whole experience is less than what I'm used to. I would move to Salmon ID just for more Wally's. Great job y'all!
