Not only is this the best Mexican food in the northwest, but our server Fawnda was probably the best server I’ve ever had! She really took care of us. Two thumbs up!!
Best Mexican Food I’ve had since I left San Diego. Great service, atmosphere and the food is amazing.
I held a birthday party for my husband at Jalapeños a few weeks ago, and they made it a perfect affair! Dinner and drinks for 28—outstanding food and service. Great place for large or small parties!

Based on the reviews, Jalapeños Mexican Restaurant offers a mix of experiences. The best chile relleno in Idaho has a smoky flavor with fresh whole chiles, and the blackened shrimp tacos are excellent. The enchiladas are enjoyable, and the food is fantastic, with an amazing huckleberry fried ice cream and coronarita. The bar tender makes fantastic margaritas and cocktails, and the staff is great, friendly, and on top of it. It is a great place to go with family or friends with lots of seating and great prices. However, some reviews note inconsistent hours, as the restaurant has turned people away or locked the door early. The food has been described as very average on one visit, though it was much better than five years prior. A magician walking around on Sunday was a cool touch.
