We were looking for a brewery to stop at in Sandpoint on our way up to Preist Lake. We had our camper and choose Matchwood because of the public parking lot adjacent to the brewery. I am very glad this was the spot we stopped. Everything about this place was beyond fantastic. Awesome building, inside and out. Awesome and seeming never ending outdoor seating. Dog friendly. Great food. Great beer. My wife and I got the Tacos here, omg there were fantastic!! I got the Chimicurri...
I’m not from Sandpoint but very excited to have found a friendly local brewery with great food and tasty in house brews. Kennedy and Kate behind the bar offered a great deal of local history and insight into the business and town. Go check it out for yourself! You won’t regret it.
GREAT beer, good food and AWESOME service! I had 10 oz pours other strawberry rhubarb sparkling ale and the Attractive Nuisance hazy IPA, and my hubby had an IPA flight. We continued to be blown away by Idaho’s IPAs! Our girls had homemade cookie icecream sandwiches for a sweet treat and we had a munchie plate with their in house made roasted carrot hummus, veggies and homemade fry bread to dip—-ALL OF IT DELICIOUS!!!! the staff are so warm and welcome and make great recommendations!!!!
