In the past this has been a good restaurant to go to. If you are in a sit down setting you will have good service. If you order take out, it is a mixed bag. I order the same thing and you will have varying portions and its concerning that it is not consistent. The cooks are friends and have no formal training. This could be the reason that there is no consistency. To the owners, update the interior of the property make sure that the customers are treated with respect.

The food was what I would call middle of the road I had a burrito it was okay but not anything to brag about I had them left the beans out of it so it's basically chicken and rice personally I think it was a little dry meal-wise.

We came here for dinner. We came in and only waited a few minutes to be seated once they noticed we were there.After they seated us, there were 6 of us, and they brought 2 baskets of chips to the table. There were maybe 20 chips in each basket, barely enough to cover the bottom. There was a bowl of salsa and refried beans with the chips, but there wasn't enough salsa for the 20 chips nor enough beans. When we asked for more chips and salsa, they brought the same amount in ONE LITTLE DISH! My opinion is that you should never have to beg for the free items. I was disappointed ?. Needless to say, with 6 people, we ran out long before the meal came.Once the meal came, we began to eat. I was excited to see what the food tasted like as I LOVE Mexican food.First, the good. One of us got tacos, and she said they were the best tacos she had ever tasted. One had the burger and fries, and he liked that.Now, for the rest. A couple of us had the macho burrito with shredded beef. The beef was a good flavor, but was only a small ball in the middle of the burrito. The rest was beans and rice. It was not put together very well.I was totally disappointed! I ordered the Colorado burrito. When it came out, it was flat, not full at all. As I ate it, it didn't have one piece of meat in it... NONE! Inside was colorado sauce, which was an OK flavor, but nothing I would come back for. It also had a LITTLE refried beans and maybe a tablespoon of rice. IT WAS NOT WORTH THE PRICE.WELL... I always look for reasons to leave 5 stars, but this time, I couldn't find much to praise. It was a disappointment and we should have chosen a different place to take our guests from out of town.We would hope this was unusual for this place but it seems it was all throughout almost all of the meals. We don't feel that we can recommend this place. Wish we could.

One of the best Carne Asada's I have ever tasted. Superb tortillas. Good salsa. Other items pretty standard. Friendly service. I liked the old-fashioned Family-run, Mexican Restaurant ambiance. Very clean. Not corporate at all!

The food was really good! I had the chicken taquitos and it was pretty tasty! The atmosphere was great, no loud music but yet had the classic Mexican vibes and colors.I only took of a star from the service because they never came back to check on us but they were also pretty busy too so it was understandable.Parking: There isn't a whole lot of parking.

Really doesn't look like much, but I was pleasantly surprised! The enchiladas are amazing, the taquitos are to die for, and their cheeseburger is also good as well as the fries, nice and hot. If you are in Shelley and in the mood for mexican, you really should stop by. Staff is friendly and the menu is robust. Not too much money either!!! Must try!

We have been a few times the food is good just homey. But last time we arrived before closing along with another couple before us. They say that couple and even though it wasn't closing time for almost an hour they said we would have to take ours to go... we left and won't be back.

I've had some pretty good Burritos in my fays.. from Rolbertos in Pocatello to Actual Guanajuato Items in Mexico in Person! These were excellent and honest to goodness a delicious meal.
