Stopped in at Mick’s Home Cooking for lunch today and it did not disappoint. Even though the parking lot was full, we were seated right away. I had the fajita salad and my wife ordered the grilled cheese—both were cooked perfectly and hit the spot. We couldn’t pass up dessert, so we shared pie as well, and it was excellent. Friendly service, great food, and very reasonable prices. We’ll definitely be back

My chicken fried steak was fabulous! The place was busy and in spite of that the service was efficient and friendly. The warm scone with honey butter was a real treat. Took home a piece of the cherry pie and it was among the best I’ve had.

If you get Grace as a waitress, you are in for a treat. Not only does this place have the best food around, the service is just as impeccable. This is your old fashioned diner in every good way. Their malts and pies tie the experience up in a bow. My husband done died and went to heaven over their blueberry pie shake. We had kids eating behind us and even they were talking about how good everything is. Do yourself a favor and eat here now!
