The food was delicious! I’d like to think I know what authentic Mexican food tastes like. This place reminded me of my grandmas home cooking. Too bad no menudo on weekends or Chile Colorado, but still a great menu, great taste, and even better service.
I visited Gonzalez Restaurant and overall had a pleasant experience. From the moment I walked in, the service stood out. The waitress, a young and very friendly staff member, took my order and clearly explained how the menu worked, which I appreciated.
The only downside was the wait time. My food took about 25 minutes to arrive. While I understand this is fairly standard for made-to-order dishes, it’s something to keep in mind if you’re in a hurry.

I stopped by to talk with the owner about providing a service. He’s a great person! Offered me some food and has a down to earth demeanor. Definitely a plus for having him in our community! Would definitely stop by and support them again.
