White Horse Saloon is a delightful establishment with a welcoming atmosphere. The management and servers are attentive and friendly. The nearby outdoor activities like kayaking, biking, and attending events like lawnmower races are a bonus. The town is safe and well-lit, perfect for a leisurely walk to the park or lake. The food, prepared by a skilled chef, is delicious. The bartender ensures a great experience with fantastic drinks and music. The rooms are quaint, cozy, and clean with comfortable beds and two full sets of towels in each room. Bathrooms are clean and spacious. The owner offered to mail a left-behind iPad. It is a bit out of the way but was worth the trip. The rooms were a pleasant surprise, clean, sleeping focused with a small window A/C, table, and foldout luggage rack. It has awesome history, loved that you can see little has really changed since the turn of the last century.
