Stopped in recently with a friend for a late breakfast and wasn't disappointed. Really cool interior decor (kind of nostalgic) / warm atmosphere. Staff was very friendly, service was excellent. Food was great. Would recommend and would return.

We came back for our third time in less than a week, this time for lunch. Ashley was our server and she was excellent! My wife had the burger and I had the pastrami melt. Both were very good. Our fries and onion rings were piping hot. I would have preferred them well done, but they were still good. You can't go wrong here!
My wife and I just moved to Star. We wanted to try a local restaurant so we came here for breakfast yesterday. Sheila was our server and she was absolutely wonderful! My wife had the Classic and I had the Veggie Omelette. They come with roasted potatoes and toast. The food was delicious. The coffee was pretty good, too. And the servings are ample and very reasonably priced. Sheila even gave us a hug as we were leaving.
We liked it so much we came back today, Sunday. My wife had the same while I tried the meat lovers skillet. Again, delicious, though I personally am not a fan of the sausage gravy. Even on Saturday and Sunday, we were still able to get a table, though the restaurant was busy. The Star Cafe will be one of our go to places for sure.

Star Country Cafe is a great place for breakfast or lunch. It has been a part of Star Idaho for the last 40 years. You get good food and reasonable prices. It's definitely a place to go.

This morning we went for mother's day. They were super busy. Shiela was our waitress and she was ON It. She was always hustling but yet made us feel important. Now days it's rare to have help that is that good at that job so we definitely noticed.
