Always the best service in Star. Great food. Great beer. Love this place! The only drawback to sitting on their patio is the obnoxiously loud music blasting from Proof’s patio next door. If I owned Taphouse, I’d cut the cord to the amps every single time. 💀

What a pleasant lunch experience! The wait staff is very attentive, and the food was amazing! I had the rosemary fries with the taphouse burger, and my daughter had the sweet potato fries with her taphouse burger. Everything was cooked to perfection, and bursting with flavor. The portion sizes were nice and large, and the food was visually appealing when served to us. The drinks were just as visually appealing and delicious also! The portion sizes, quality of food, and fun atmosphere, was a perfect match for the price of our lunch. They offer a wide range of craft beer and cocktails ,with a vegan and vegetarian menu alongside a full sandwich menu. The outside dining area was a nice addition, and the inside area offers a host of televisions to watch different sports. We will definitely be back, and i recommend you give them a try! I liked that there is a sit down bar area for patrons that aren't looking for a meal- and just want a tasty drink while watching a favorite sport on one of the many televisions.

My favorite club sandwich location!

Just spent St Patrick's Day at the Star Taphouse. My large group had the special Corned beef and Cabbage dinner. I have had many over the Treasure Valley over the years, and this was the best I have ever had. And the recommendations of a beer pairing was wonderful. I am coming back here every St Pattys Day!

Consistently great food and service!

Their food is delicious. I usually just like gravy...but their Poutine gravy is down right amazing...I think it's just their gravy in general, not just for the poutine but 🤤. I wish we lived closer...so good.

Very disappointing..... I had the prime rib dip and it had so much horseradish sauce you couldn't taste anything else and the rosemary fries had burnt rosemary on them and my wife had a chicken sandwich that was so tough she couldn't bite into it or cut it into pieces with a knife.... she sent it back and ordered a burger and it was a dry over smoked beef patty with a soggy bun.... my first and last time at this establishment. Save your money and go somewhere else... salad and iced tea were good and the server was awesome though.

Food was good but a little pricy. $85 with tip for three people to eat lunch (no drinks).
