Food was delicious. The outdoor setting is beautiful. The piano player was excellent. The bar staff were wonderful and made me a perfect cocktail. Service at the table was not attentive, but overall a nice experience.

We had a perfect evening at the Ram. The food was amazing with the salmon prepared perfectly. We love the pianist and enjoy sitting outside on a nice summer evening! Just great!

Our food was the best we have had in years. Love the outdoor ambience and the live piano! Highly recommend.

We were warmly greeted upon arrival and had a lovely view from our outside patio table. Service was excellent, and the Wagyu and Halibut were excellent choices. We highly recommend this restaurant.

The ambiance was beautiful and the service was good. For starters, we had the caviar and salad—both were very good, and the bread was also a nice touch. For our mains, we tried the goulash special and the pasta. Unfortunately, neither impressed us. The pasta wasn't to our liking, and the meat in the goulash was tough and lacked tenderness.

The Ram was the perfect final dinner of our honeymoon—truly the best meal of our entire 18-day trip! The patio is absolutely beautiful, with gorgeous flowers, timeless decor, and the dreamiest ambiance thanks to the live piano music. The views looking out over the lawn and pond are so peaceful—you can soak in all the natural beauty while watching families play games and enjoy themselves. Just a super wholesome, feel-good experience from start to finish. Can't recommend it enough!

We had a lovely meal on the terrace of The Ram/Sun Valley Inn prior to attending a Sun Valley On Ice Show. We started with the Scallop Crudo and the Crab and Apple Salad. Both were tasty with the crudo sliced very thin and served in a yummy sauce. The crab and apple salad was good, yet should have been served with Dungeness crab to make it be a real winner. Dinners were Halibut and Rack of Lamb. Both were good, yet the Halibut leaned toward a wee overdone. Dessert was a tasty version of a tres leches cake which was a perfect share portion. Two things to note. It appears all appetizers on the summer menu are cold appetizers (no hot offerings ), and there is no such thing as a starter salad. Both additions would be welcome. Service was great and it really was a lovely outing.

Obviously a recent epic upgrade to this beloved SV classic. Some of the best steaks I've ever had in the Valley.

The Ram is always fabulous! Michael & his team are unbelievably kind, inviting, & accommodating! Summer patio & Larry on the piano make it a charming and perfect experience! This summer's menu is especially delicious - everything was divine.

The staff is extremely responsive to your needs. Only one item that was a little off At the table we ordered a starter a soup and steak tartare which was amazing. For the entree my wife ordered the iberico pork schnitzel which was a complete winner. I ordered the Thursday Special known as the heritage specials specifically the Zwiebelrostbraten 1946. I found the meat a bit chewy as though it need to be slowly cooked to soften the meat waiter noticed that I was not as engaged in the food and came over to ask if there was a problem. He removed the plate back to the kitchen re presented the dish with a new selection of beans potatoes and a bit more cooked meat. again the staff is wonderful. Michael the manager is wonderful. I just feel that the heritage dinner for Thursday needs more attention for a slower method if cooking to soften the meat. Flavor is very good. Of course we will always go to Ram in the future love the place.

Michael Peterson was masterful at fulfilling our wishes, which changed upon our arrival. This he did with a suave sensibility in spite of the many other tables about to arrive with their own concerns. The course of our evening was a delight with such a sophisticated Captain and Navigator.

The Ram at Sun Valley Resort delivered an exceptional dining experience—elegant yet cozy, with service that was warm and attentive. I had the heritage sausage dinner, which was hearty, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully presented—a true comfort dish elevated. My guests raved about the salmon, cooked to perfection with a delicate, buttery finish, and the schnitzel, crisp and golden with just the right touch of indulgence. A special thanks to Michael for his attentiveness and kindness in making sure my son had space for the stroller—thoughtful touches like that make all the difference. The ambiance, steeped in alpine charm and history, made the whole evening feel like a timeless Sun Valley moment. A must-visit for anyone seeking refined mountain fare.

Beautiful patio, service was alittle slow, early in the season. Scallops are misrepresented on menu, expected seared not sushi. Crab and apple salad was a huge hit for several of us. One of our favorite places in the valley and they are alittle slow hitting their stride this year, Michael will get it under control.
