The Ram is part of the heartbeat of old Sun Valley. It's both a treasure given it's history but also a treat because of the quality of service and cuisine. We never miss a chance to dine there. It is a perennial favorite!

Everyone was extremely nice. Had a great time talking to Larry the pianist. It's an annual tradition!

We loved the Ram! Our server was so kind and helpful, as were the bartenders in the adjoining bar. Food was perfect too, fondue was a highlight!

We dined here for my daughter's 22nd birthday. There was a large party next to us that sucked the life out of our experience. At one point their server got on all fours next to our table to look for something under their table. She couldn't care less that her actions completely disrupted our dining. They didn't even wish my daughter a Happy Birthday! The food was overpriced and lackluster. Wouldn't ever come back!

Best restaurant in Sun Valley! Brings you back to 1936 when the resort opened. Food and service is impeccable!

Great atmosphere but very loud. We couldn't even hear the piano player. Kitchen was slow, but based on the crowd, they did a great job feeding everyone. Sea Bass was overcooked, but Stuffed Sole was awesome.

We've been blessed to enjoy the Ram for well over 40 years! It is always wonderful and NEVER disappoints! Always look forward to our next visit to this Sun Valley icon!

Two small kids (3 years old and 4 months old) bring a lot of unknown factors into dining out, but the staff at the Ram were beyond wonderful. We felt welcomed from the start, and the staff did a great job attending to us. We will eat here again in a heartbeat.

We truly had an amazing time at the Ram, thanks to Michael Peterson! He truly embodies hospitality in every regard and could not have taken better care of us. We had a bit of a mix up with our reservation and he swiftly helped us figure it out with a smile. The restaurant itself was so beautiful and our fantastic waitress Krystina enhanced our experience and provided wonderful recommendations. The cocktails and food were wonderful and the live music made the whole night seem like a lovely dream. Thank you Michael- we will definitely be back!!

This place was wonderful they told us the history of the town and the ski resort. They had a wonderful live pianist, who is so kind, really made the atmosphere so amazing. and the food was very delicious.

I'm always a little hesitant about a fine dinning experience and if it will live up to its hype. What made this one of the best dining experiences you ask? Was it the incredible food, yes! Was it the delicious cocktails, of course! Was it Michael who was the most attentive, kind, and hardworking person I've met, ABSOLUTELY! Everything was wonderful here, including the rest of the staff, but he went above and beyond to make it a enjoyable experience and not just a meal.

Outstanding food, classic atmosphere keeping with Sun Valley tradition and history, and fabulous service. My waitress convinced me to try the Sacher Torte (and helped me with the correct Austrian pronunciation of that dish)….was not disappointed. 10/10, will return.

Excellent service in a rather anachronistic setting. The food was okay but the value for the price was very poor. We had scallops... for $29 they were half the size one might expect. The goulash while tasty had four small pieces of meat and a lot of spaetzal. My partner had halibut which was cooked in a souvee but was bland. Overall, we would eat at The Sawtooth Club.

Overall a wonderful experience. Good, service and ambience were great! Would highly recommend for a fine dining experience. If you have small children or are in a hurry, you maybe be best to consider other options. The intent here is not a rushed meal.
