We had a fun night and a great dinner at the Ram. We started with drinks at the bar, and then had dinner at the restaurant. The food was delicious and service was very good, although it took quite awhile to receive our entrees. The manager, Michael was so personable, knowledgeable and friendly. A total pro and definitely the epitome of what you woujd expect at a first class resort.

Excellent service. Food was well prepared and tasted great. Not a large variety of wines by the glass. Rack of lamb was delicious but more fat than meat so wouldn't order again.

Our family of three had a mixed experience with our dishes. For example, my son's main course was very salty while my soup was bland and needed additional salt, which the server was happy to provide and made a world of difference. The signature dessert was a disappointment and my husband's main course was good, certainly not great. The service was extremely attentive and friendly. We enjoyed the piano music and the pianist's conversation. My salad course was quite good; unique combination of ingredients with a delicate and complex dressing. I would describe our family as very willing to splurge on a great meal, however we don't have limitless funds. Of course we made the choice to stay at the resort and had already looked at the menu beforehand and anticipated the cost - so it wasn't about the amount, the meal was simply was underwhelming.

Our dinners and dessert were all excellent and the wine list was good. I would recommend this for a special dinner (moderately expensive at the least) and an exceptional Sun Valley Idaho experience.

A timeless Sun Valley classic. The Ram delivers an exceptional dining experience from start to finish. The food was outstanding, beautifully presented, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. Service was warm, attentive, and professional without feeling rushed. The atmosphere is cozy and elegant, making it the perfect spot for a relaxed evening or special occasion. Highly recommend the Idaho Rack of Lamb and the Japanese Wagyu Hot Rock, both were absolutely phenomenal.

Our waiter was not helpful, left us sitting for a very long time, and we had to ask someone else for the check to finally leave. Left hungry and won’t go back!
