“Holding up my line,” they said—yet the nearly $16 cash‑back discrepancy was their mistake. The manager threw my receipt away right in front of me and added, “I guess he wants his money back.” Shockingly unprofessional (January 2026.)

I reached out to customer service the same day as the event, and it’s now been two weeks with no follow‑up or attempt to resolve the issue. At this point, it feels like a poor effort to reconcile the situation, which is disappointing (February 2026.)

I placed a DoorDash delivery and they forgot, not only both of my sauces that I ordered, but I thought they had it forgot my extra sauces turns out they didn’t. They just dumped everything included the sauces in my burrito on top of it. I’ve worked there and I know that you were supposed to put all of that in a little container. Even worse when the DoorDash went back to get it they said that I have to mark it as I want it on the side, which I don’t know how to do on DoorDash, but they also still gave me the wrong ranch. It’s a soppy soup. And it’s gross and cold. I paid $20 are yall for real? I expect better

I had such a great experience at Cafe Rio! The food is always good, but what really made my visit stand out was the staff. Everyone I talked to was friendly, patient, and really seemed to care about making sure I had a good experience.

I was so pleasantly surprised with the crew working tonight. I dropped in from out of town and can I just say wow, where do you find this kind of customer service anymore? Each young man and woman helping me were incredibly attentive and I honestly just felt like they really wanted to serve me in the best way but also work together and help each other too. I walked out the door with a smile on my face and a lot of hope for our future as a whole after my experience. Thank you. Service like this definitely makes me want to return.

I am writing this review to express my disappointment with a recent experience at this Twin Falls location. I placed an order for a salad for pick up 09/16/2025 at around 1:45 p.m., but when I checked my meal at work, it was incomplete—I only received rice and meat, with no lettuce.

I returned to the restaurant to address the issue. I politely said “I was wondering if you could fix my order,” in an attempt to keep the interaction civil, but was met with coldness and indifference. One employee dismissively asked, “What’s the issue?” In a tone that made it clear they were not interested in helping. I explained to her that it was missing a lettuce. She then insisted that the order indicated the lettuce was on the side, which it was not. Even if the order had said 'on the side,' there was no lettuce provided on the side. For the record, there isn’t even an option to request lettuce on the side when ordering online. I showed her the receipt. Another staff member took my plate, stuffed some lettuce onto it, then slid it across the counter without saying a word or making eye contact, and both of employees walked away. They were not apologetic at all. I was left feeling embarrassed and disrespected, as if I had done something wrong simply for asking for the order I had paid for.

The way I was treated was unacceptable and far from the customer service standards I would expect from Café Rio.
