Just passing through town for the first time. Decided to eat here on the night they were having open mic night. Fantastic performers, super friendly staff, and delicious fried chicken and mashed potatoes!
The staff here is very cool. The food is excellent. It is nice and clean. You will encounter some good ol’ boy bigots who are extremely out of pocket. But the bartender will put those good ol’ boys in their place before it becomes a big problem. Overall, very impressed.
This place is as cozy as it is lively. Live music, a well stocked bar, tasty food (I've had the patty melt, mushroom burger, and the fish&chips so far) and amazing service. I recommend the potato planks and an ice cold Modelo.
